lsd's Issues

vcruntime140d.dll

I had a problem when trying to run the application on a different computer. With the process montitor I figured out that vcruntime140d.dll was missing on the other computer. Even though vcruntime140d.dll is for debugging it seems to be necessary also for the Release Version.

Commai Camera Calibration
May 2021 - Present
comp vision regression 2021 CNN
Overview
This was a fairly large undertaking that kickstarted a deep interest in computer vision. Inspiration for the project was sparked by Commai's CEO, George Hotz, who posted a challenge to forecast the pitch and yaw of a mounted camera given footage ingested from the POV of a car mounted cam. More info regarding this challenge can be found here. Much of the project was oriented around understanding Convolution Neural Networks (CNN) along with learnin about the extrinsics and extrinsics of a camera.

Demo of Annotation Algorithm:
Red segments are the original line segments detected with Grompone's Line Segment Detector (LSD)
Green segments are an extension of the detected segments

The line segments detected are in the red which are extended resulting in the green segments.

The intersections of the multiple segments are used to compute the vanishing point (VP) indicated in blue
NOTE there are some caveats to this method when computing the VP
