Both I and another comrade attempted to use Protectra and AoE cures and they only seem to heal/buff the caster.
I realize it's probably not of high concern, but I wanted to bring up that the level 20 mini fork avatar fights the mob is running on the level 60 encounter script, allowing the mob to use merit moves and multiple astral flow moves, I.e. diamond dust. this makes the fight unbearable.
Really not sure what this was, seems like a weapon mod? It references ModID as the crashpoint. First crash I've had in days, glad I was running in debug mode.
i've realised that in most zones related to the expansions Zilart, CoP, ToAU, and WoTG are playing the battle tracks from the original FFXI zones. Its not a major issue but i've noticed it.
Anytime I use onEventUpdate for map NPC, params that have values are returning nil in them. I found this out when trying to pass one to another function that was in another script. The NPC I was working with was Pehki Machumaht in Windurst Woods.

I believe it was mentioned that these were implemented at some point. I went to Garliage Citadel the other night and was unable to collect the stones from the ???. I believe an update must have broken them =(
If you zone with Dark Arts/Light Arts active, you get stuck at "Downloading Data..."
I'm not sure where to look to solve this
Confirmed by atom0s, this command if sent without a playername will crash the server. Added a bit of code to fix this.
After update 6/1 around noon est the maws only give nothing happens.... message when clicked on. Don't think the wotg zones were disabled since I was logged in a past zone before the update, but was unable to use the maw to return to the same past zone I had used just before update. Checked 2 other maws and received same message.
None of the mobs on server.lua have spawned since last update
The runic portal in whitegate only saves the progress of 2 opened staging points, and changes the ones that you have depending on which ones you unlock. For example > unlocking azouph staging point will give you access to that staging point, but unlocking halvung after that removes azouph and gives you perquia + halvung instead. Unlocking perquia after that removes perquia and replaces it with dvucca, then mamool ja, and after that you just seem to be stuck with mamool ja and halvung as your only 2 options to warp to from whitegate.
Abelard will not take the clay tablet, also he will not continue dialog for "signed in blood".

When a Linkshell LSMES is NULL or has issues, it apparently breaks the server on boot.

SAM AF3 BCNM isn't letting anyone but the charm trader into the battlefield. Once there, no BCNM's spawn and a player character cannot leave the battlefield without warping.
if a player gets disconnected but dies before their session is removed by map cleanup, on logging back in the dead character has a chance of having the wrong amount of time displayed on their homepoint/raise timer.
Doesn't seem to happen very often.

Someone in LS was having trouble with fight, so I assisted to see what was up. The mobs HP bars do not go down at all, and you cannot see them moving around and have to almost guess where they are to be able to attack them. Fight is still winnable you just dont see the HP reduction.
I was told that the "entity update packets arent working right" and to specify that when posting bug.

First bug post, I did most of the mission a few weeks ago up til getting the Scene with Lion in the Consulate at San d'Oria. I am trying to finish now but Helaku nor Halver will give the scenes I need with them.. they won't respond to my interaction at all. I have fought the dragon twice and have no Kindred Crest as I expected as much. Not sure what to do
I've been leveling Blue Mage heavily over the past few months and have found some pretty important issues.
-Blue Magic skill doesn't seem to matter for physical blue magic and all seem to be based on strength and attack power rather than the stats they should. My Drk/Blu does more damage to exp mobs with blue magic than my blu main.
-Souleater and Sneak Attack and Trick Attack should stack with physical Blue Magic spells but do not.
-Some blue magic spells are unobtainable because the mobs arent using TP moves. Rafflesia, Qiqrin, and gnoles are examples.
-Physical Blue Magic Spells should have a chance to critical hit (sneak attack for example) but dont ever seem to do so.
-And lastly some spells are giving the wrong stats when equipped i.e. Feather Storm

Clicking on the Transcendental Radiance while in a party warps the main character into the BCNM that is empty. The warpee then receives the message that "another event is trying to take place" and that "the event was cancelled, try again later."
Meanwhile, the alts in my party receive the final cut-scene AFTER "defeating" Promathia and receive the title "Averter of the Apocalypse."
I was able to finish the mission Dawn with my alts and receive the Tamas ring but Citrine is still unable to even enter the BCNM without it being empty or to receive the cut scene like my three alts.
These mobs use the Blue Magic Asuran Claws when standing, but never seem to stand.
One other summoner issue is that Astral Flow moves from the summoners avatars hit for 0 damage against mobs. If this were fixed, the importance of getting the proper for the fights would fall drastically.

@teschnei was this part of the instancing branch changes? No BCNMs work for me now due to being unable to load mobs - they instant win and exit out.

With yesterday's update, it's been recognized and confirmed that AOE buff effects, I.e. protectra, only effect the caster and no other party members.

Currently has 1hp and instant spawns but still gives exp
one of my toons made a large number of Artificial Lens skilling up and saved them for Prism Powders later, I posted them on AH for free space in inventories for 1500 each. I'm now trying to buy them back and can't for 1500, not a single one that I put up. I tried for more and still couldn't buy them. I cleared my sales status and reposted what I had to after relogging and none of the lens showed up though the AH still has 54 posted. I wouldn't make the connection to a bug but Djinn is also having trouble buying griffon hides for absurd amounts of gil. Maybe a bug, maybe something else Idk, figured I'd mention it.
Brand new to leaving bug reports for OldSchool server, so not entirely sure if this is the correct area for it. Apologies in advance. The BCNM for Bastok Mission 2-3, The Emissary, is not working properly. The character activating the BC enters the battlefield, with no Dragon or Seeker. And does not receive completion credit. If other group members are on the same mission, they are given the final cutscene with the dragon already defeated and are then ported to the exit path. I cannot yet confirm if this is true for Sandy/Windy 2-3 missions as well or if it's just Bastok, though I feel that this would also concern their rank missions. Also, Sandy's 1-3 Mission, Save the Children, has been reported in-game as also being defunct. As these are important missions to complete, I request that rank missions be looked at and considered for correction. Thank you. ~ Haight

Siren's Tear in North Gustaburg is not obtainable, clicked the ??? (which is called something else) in the river and even though I dont have anything equiped in either weapon slot it still 'slips out of my fingers' zoned repeatedly and even tried without any gear at all on and same message. Tried 10+x and it always slips out of my hands. According to FFXIclopedia ??? ID:26D, if that helps. Can't complete blu flag quest without this
There are some things on retail where you can log out and not lose progress or an effect, but will lose them on zone. Example include the the sheep's meat places in the campfire in South Gustaberg and the recently added Prowess effect.
The script in South Gustaberg makes use of needToZone() and EFFECT_PROWESS uses a flag in its database entry. When I asked about it on IRC Kj said he thinks needToZone() does it wrong then. I do not know how to change this behavior to be more retail, so currently prowess buffs wear off on logout/connection loss and will cause you to lose your progress on that galkan sausage quest if you were doing that.
This likely effects or will effect other things these are just two examples that come to mind.

As the title says, the puppet for PUP doesn't gain skillups for its respective skills. Im currently 12 and have let my puppet do alot of the killing, and is sitting at 0/39 melee skill.
Probably belongs its own issue as well, but the maneuvers aren't functioning, and won't give the buff of having a maneuver active.

I understand that sea is still under construction. But, I entered limbus last night and cleared the floor with my group. I ran out of time before I could reach the next floor and was booted.
I tried again tonight and Citrine, my main, couldn't enter. Said that there was already another group in there ( when there wasn't). I entered my other three and they entered onto an empty BCNM.
I'm guessing that for some reason it's counting my previous visit as if I'm "still in the BCNM." That's why Citrine couldn't enter. Plus, when I entered the first time, it only used up Citrine's detergent.

I went to enter the Balga's Dais BCNM area for Bastok Mission 2-3 and seem to have hit a bug. No cutscene ran, but my character was moved into the battle arena. However, 2 messages popped up when I was moved:
"Another event was called while current event was running."
"You Cannot enter the battlefield at present. Please wait a little longer."
Now my character is stuck in the battlefield, but there are no enemies. Clicking on the Burning circle just gives me the option to start mission 2-3 final battle, but I get the same messages if I choose that. There don't appear to be any exits, chests, or other items that I would be able to interact with.
After watching the game server logs, it seems that there is a SQL error "no table bcnm_battlefield". I have a bcnm_instance table, but I do not in fact have a bcnm_battlefield table. It is also throwing an error with spawnMonsterForBcnm: SQL Error - cannot find any monster IDs for BCNMID 96 Battlefield 1.
I would guess the errors are related.
Just made sure that I was on latest, this is newly rebuilt, and crashing, not sure what the heck my members are doing that caused this...
