Which python-ros2-package should I install if I want to use "ros2" command like, "ros2 run demo_nodes_cpp talker"?
Hi guys,
I am trying using ros-foxy on Windows, as following the ROS2 tutorial.
At the beginning, I need to run "ros2 run demo_nodes_cpp talker", but I don't know which python-ros2-package I should install in this list -- https://robostack.github.io/foxy.html.
I want to know whether there is a list for ros2-command and corresponding python-ros2-package?
By the way, does "ros2 run" correspond to ros-foxy-ros-base or ros-foxy-ros-core?
Your answer and guide will be appreciated!
ros2 run image_tools cam2image Raspberry Pi 4B

I have the following issue when I try "ros2 run image_tools cam2image" on a Raspberry Pi 4B :

I am on a Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB, with a pycam V.2 and I use ros2 foxy.

Does someone know how to solve it?
I'm quite new with raspberry and Ros so tell me if you need more informations.

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'ament_package' error while compiling ROS2 package with colcon
I wanted to start testing the ROS2 packages by building a simple package (from https://github.com/robotology-playground/yarp-ros2), but compilation is failing.
Installation process
conda create -n ros2env python=3.8
conda activate ros2env
# this adds the conda-forge channel to your persistent configuration in ~/.condarc
conda config --env --add channels conda-forge
# and the robostack channel
conda config --env --add channels robostack
# it's very much advised to use strict channel priority
conda config --env --set channel_priority strict
mamba install ros-foxy-base

Notes
Note that ros-foxy-ament-package is correctly installed, and if I open a python interpreter and run from ament_package.templates import get_environment_hook_template_path it works fine, so probably the issue is that a new Python interpreter that is not correctly configured is launched, or something similar.

Launch command not found
On activating the ros-foxy environment, the launch command is not available by default. As a result,
ros2 launch ... ... results in the following error:

Unlike ros-noetic, on running
condo activate <rosfoxyenvname>
CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH is blank, resulting in issues trying to execute colcon builds
(tested on MacOS 11)
Segmentation fault tf2_py on MacOS
Following the problem in noetic RoboStack/ros-noetic#86 testing on foxy issues the same error:

Add a conda-forge build of cunit for Windows
We could use this vcpkg cmake file: https://github.com/microsoft/vcpkg/blob/master/ports/cunit/CMakeLists.txt
[vinca] Packages that don't depend on ament still use build_catkin.sh etc.
MoveIt2 support
At the moment I do not think anyone is working on adding MoveIt packages to the foxy distribution, but in any case I open this issue so interesting users can provide comments/links/related patches.
