Welcome to Source Robotics

Our main mission is to bridge the gap between robotic education, research, and industry with accessible and open-source solutions.
We accomplish this by developing high-performance robotics hardware such as robotic arms, motor controllers, and grippers. Additionally, we actively support and build communities and raise awareness about robotics through engaging content and examples on social media.

Our main products are the Spectral Micro BLDC controller, the PAROL6 control board, and the SSG-48 adaptive electric gripper.

Minor doc change: incorrect email, no links except for insta, minor corrections

Really impressive project. Docs remind me of Lego instructions. (which is a huge compliment)

  1. Looks like the email is probably incorrect on page 3 of "Building instructions.pdf".

"โ— Or send us an email at: [email protected]" (missing the "l" in gmail?)

  1. Only the Instagram link is present (page 3). Did you want to add links to the other social media locations?

  2. Page 4 "Some parts are not show" should probably be "Some parts are not shown"

  3. Page 8, two "esthetic" should be "aesthetic"

  4. On page 8, "If you are not using it you risk destroying your plastic parts" should probably be changed to something like, "If not torqued, then you risk destroying the plastic parts." (if that's what you were trying to state)

  5. On page 8, "Attaching shaft couplers to motor shafts demands blue threadlocker." "demands" should probably be changed to "requires".

  6. Imbus might be called an Allen or hex key wrench in the US

The rest looks like it is still a work in progress.

I'm assuming there will be more info on the board. (where to purchase, how to assemble, how to test with each of the steppers before assembly, etc.)

Outdated links to previous project

It looks like the BOM and build instructions links in your README to your Faze4 robotic arm page rather than the respective ones for this project. Should be an easy fix.

Where is the PCB

I think this is a type of open source project ok great

1- I want buy a PAROL6 arm but it is sold out.
2- Ok so I will print STL files and i will buy a control board ... tadaaa control board sold out.
3 - No problem I can order a PCB and build myself this board Supriseee There is no PCB files

Why do you relase this project please help me understand

Also there is no original Drawing files (Fusion or Solid). If you dont want anyone to do this arm, please dont share STL files too. there is no difference between them. because when we start this project and our days will gone and when a problem appear no way to fix it without original 3D files. I dont believe this STL files is perfect
