You might want to try and use the existing driver:
Faraday.default_adapter = :em_synchrony

Hey @treeder, sorry that this hasn't got enough attention before. Paralellism wasn't our priority, but now it is.

The adapter that you pasted a link for is now gone. I wrote my own EM adapter which can be used in asynchronous mode for individual requests inside an EM reactor loop. It can also be used outside of EM, for running parallel requests in otherwise synchronous code.
