Code blocks aren't displayed properly when there are more than 2 line breaks. After 2 or more line breaks there is an automatic code end. I am using <code> ... </code>
Not sure if this is a bug in the template or WP normal behavior.

The image is overflowing on the right. This is due to a padding issue:

Disqus widget have not margin and other plugin like "Starbox" is not responsive.

Widgets doesn't work on smaller screens and smartphones. If the screen is narrower then 884px the widgets are pushed into each other and the lower (text-)parts just disappear.

On the smartphone does it look a little worse.

Maybe it's better to arrange the widgets vertically as soon as the screen width comes below a certain value?!

I've solved it in CSS, but it would be nice to have a setting to change the height of the header.

In Casper theme options i see "Only display header on home page". But this option is doesn't work like Ghost blog script. When we select this option only header image disappear, header still staying.

Do you think any editing for that?

I´ve updated my blog to WP 4.0 and the theme too but now I don't have the icon for the StackOverflow neither Github on the main page.

I know it's a hairy layout decision to make because there isn't really any good solution to this, but still, I might be worth to give it some attention.

I'm a bit confused about the headers sizes (examples in attachment).

Is it normal that inside a post, a top level header (h1) is bigger (50px) than the post's title itself (40px) ? Same goes for h2 (40px), which is the same size. On top of that, headers inside posts are darker than the post's title, which automatically gives them some sort of prevalence.

While writing, it leads me to pick h3 as top level headers, so the final aspect isn't misleading. It's something I really often see in Wordpress themes and it always seemed wrong to me.

Possibilities:

• won't fix: perhaps it's exactly like that in Ghost, and you prefer to keep it that way
• won't fix: if it really bothers the writer, he can still use the h3 workaround
• fix: lower the headers' size and eventually make them just a bit brighter
• fix: make the post's title bigger (but I think it's just perfect the way it is right now)
• fix: use a different font for the main title than for the inner headers (delicate choice)

An example that handles it a bit better (imo): Filtered, by ThemeTrust (http://themetrust.com/demos/filtered/?page_id=2). But it's not perfect: inner h1 is still bigger (32px) than the main title (29px). Although you can note that they use different fonts: Droid Serif for the main title, Droid sans for the inner content.

Haven't installed your theme yet but love the look of it, a couple of issues I have found with the demo are related to the excerpt layout.

The first issue is with the image in the post, as you can see it overlaps the line under it. Most Wordpress themes I have used it the past just disable images in the post excerpts which I think may be an idea for this theme to keep the clean layout.

The other issue I see is with the "more" button at the end of the post excerpt which currently displays … → and is also underlined, it looks really confusing. Could you not just have "Read More" or "View Full Post" as an underlined link?

What are your thoughts?

This is a proposed enhancement.

Currently, I do not see an option for forcing excerpts on the blog page, which I think look better than showing the full post on the blog.

I could just change the index to the_excerpt() or I could use the more tag, but I don't want to go through my posts and add the more tag and I would rather not force myself or others to edit the core theme.

What do you think? If you like this, should the functionality be included in the customizer or a theme settings page?

Since your last update (commit 05d4821) the theme seems to be broken. All I see is a blank page, even on my child theme.

I made some comments to the commit linked above where I suspect some errors.

For readability and reuse. Because the code was ported from a CSS file it does not take on the hierarchical structure of a true LESS file and is therefore difficult to read. It's a tedious task so I'm slowly making changes as I see them. Would likely only take an hour to go through from top to bottom but I'm lazy.

Should social icons be hidden when "Only display header on home page" is selected and if not, should menu items and social icons have more space between each other?

There is a problem in displaying submenus. The attached screenshots should clarify. "Themes" is a submenu respectively subitem of "Gaming" and if you hover "Gaming" it looks like this:

Replace DATABASE_NAME with your own. If your theme folder is not called casper then change theme_mods_casper accordingly.

I have problem with Casper theme. Theme have character problem like letters: "Ş, İ" I quess Casper theme use Google fonts. I can't found Google Fonts code in header.php and style.css. I used Google fonts before, i know how i fix this problem but i can't found code. I think you use different technic. Can you explain please?

When I go onto my website from my phone, there is no menu such as: Home, about, contact.

The submenus look good, at least on normal computer screens. But on smaller screens/resolutions they look partly weird.

And nearly the same problem exists on smartphones with the responsive menu.

I'm sure you can solve this problem too. ;)

Tags and category are not properly displayed above the post title. There is a space missing and I think the format is not correct either: [category]in[tag1], [tag2].

I added a excerpt to the post but how can I force Casper to use them in the main blog post list page?

Hi. First i love your theme! and I'm currently testing it on a multisite (subdomain) based site of mine.

My problem is that I think the theme is not displaying Pages (not single posts). I'm attaching a screenshot for your reference.

As you can see below the text renders from end to end of the page. while in single post its more width limited.

On the bottom of the page, I like to have the "older posts" navigation on the left, and "newer posts" navigation on the right. It makes it more consistent with navigating through individual posts in the theme and back and forward buttons of a web browser.

Can you either fix this (consider this a bug report or feature request) or give me some direction on where to look to fix it myself? I'm comfortable making child-themes and editing some code.

I´m translating Casper theme to spanish and i already finished it but after some tests i found that some strings remains in english and can´t be translated using the pot file.

File content.php contais hardcoded word "on" and needs to be translated. Check line 14 of content.php:
<span class="post-meta"><?php casper_posted_on(); ?> on <?php printf($category_list); ?></span>

Perhaps more files contains word "on" hardcoded not checked in depth.

For small (1-man) blogs like mine displaying Category, Tags and Author on the Post Pages leads to unnecessary bloat. So I removed outputting this from the source of my theme install (see http://vincent.io/the-price-of-ignorance/).

It would be nice if this would be a customizable setting in the Theme Settings.

When WordPress converts emoticons to graphics, it does not display inline. As it is a image, there's a certain margin before and after the emoticon.
