predawn's Issues

Bottom scrollbar not visible

Horizontal scrollbar is themed black which makes it impossible to see. Not sure if this is intentional or bug. But it's really annoying trying to find that black scrollbar on 1% less black background. Shouldn't this be the same orange color like vertical one.

Windows 7 x64, Sublime Text 2

Thanks for your work, I love the theme!

Class/#id selectors not highlighting correctly for SCSS

Love the Predawn theme, it's by far my favorite that I've seen!

I've only had one problem. Class and #id selectors are unresponsive to the syntax highlighting for SCSS. Well rather they're highlighting to the wrong color.

I'm new to customizing Sublime text (2), and I'm wondering if I need to reset something. Also I'm not referencing any other themes in my settings file.

Hope you don't mind helping, cheers!

Find bar behind status bar

I'm seeing the find bar behind the status bar. If i switch it off it seems like it's being pushed under the screen fold.

Tabs blow up

Changed to the highly anticipated theme and my tabs and a few other things blew up.

Thoughts?

"Find" / "Replace" box takes too vertical space

The "Find..." and "Replace" (and ever worse the "Find in files...") boxes takes too long vertical space.

In fact, it is so tall that first time I opened "Find in files" I had to increase the height of the box (I mean with the mouse) so that the tree rows ("Find", "Where", "Replace") become visible.

Case Sensitive Bug

Hi, first of all I wanted to say thanks for the great theme.
There is a bug when you hove over case sensitive find (it does not have a hover icon probably)

Another thing I'd like to ask is font size - while in your recommended preferences it's 14,
in predawn screen shots is 11.

which one to your opinion is better?

Request and feedback

Two things:

  1. The color scheme is by far the best I have ever tried (I've tried many) - also the only one I've ever stuck with longer than a week. I use Sublime for js and some other things, but because of Sublime's sucky code folding, I use Webstorm for less/html. Any future ports of this to that or other editor's planned?
  2. The theme (.sublime-theme) is a bit large and clumbsy in some areas.
    For example, the tooltip Orange with white text doesn't contrast well from my perspective.
    The find area is too large, and the colorization of the buttons is inconsistent (sometimes off has no icon, sometimes dimmed). Anyway the black on black icon doesn't show up on my hd monitor.
    The main (ctrl+shift+p) menu is too big. I went into the theme and made some hacks, but Sublime wouldn't update certain things for some reason.

Anyway, this is not what I would call a complaint. I'm still using the theme and the scheme after all. Just feedback. Thanks for an awesome color scheme.

Unsupported pixel depth

Hi there,

Since your last commits on august 22th. The Predawn theme seems to act pretty strange. I doesn't seem to recognize and show the icons.

The console shows me these error messages when loading Predawn:

unsupported pixel depth
unsupported color type
Unable to decode Packages/Predawn/assets/icon-case-hover.png

unsupported pixel depth is in the console a lot of times.

I did restart sublime a couple of times but it doesn't work.
I hope you can fix this so I can enjoy Predawn as always!

Greetings,
Johman10

Tabs colours are confusing

Nice theme, but I found very confusing to tell which is the currently selected tab.

At the moment the colour of the unselected tabs is very close to the colour of the text background, when there are only two tabs open it gives the impression that the selected tab is the darker one as it blends with the document.

Consider:

  • Making the selected tab dark, the others lighter
  • Adding another visual clues, for example the flatland theme has a small line under the tabs that makes it unambiguous which one is the current one

"Error trying to parse settings" on second launch in Sublime Text 2

After installing Predawn via Package Control in Sublime Text 2, I can't re-start Sublime Text 2 due to this error:

Error trying to parse settings: Trailing comma before closing bracket in [ST2 packages dir]\Predawn\Preferences.sublime-settings:42:1

This would seem to implicate the comma at the end of line 40 in Preferences.sublime-settings (the last comma is usually illegal in ST Prefs). However simply removing that comma and restart ST does not resolve the issue - ST fails to start and does not provide an error message until I restart my computer.

To get ST running again, I had to delete the Predawn directory from my Packages directory, start ST, and then also remove the Predawn pack using Package Control.

I'm using ST2 ver 2.0.2, Build 2221 on Windows 7.

PS - This theme looks very pretty; thanks for releasing it!

Console and goto panel adjustments

It would be good to make the size of the console and the "goto anything panel" (and it's variations like command palette) adjustable back to the sublime originals, just as it is possible with the tabs and the find panel.

Or maybe I overlooked something, but I can't find the option.

Find textsize; Sidebar: space between folder icon and text

Hello! Your theme looks amazing, it works so well! I do have two questions, please.

In the readme are several screenshots of the theme, how it should look like. I've been trying to make my Sublime Text look like the theme, however the space between the menutext and menuicon is very little. I've been trying to edit the size using the sidebar_default setting, however that does not change that size. Is there another setting to increase the space?

I've also noticed that the font size of the find textarea is quite large. I've also noticed that the font-size of the console is that large. Is there a setting to lower this font size?

Version information:
Sublime Text 3, Stable Channel, Build 3059, Windows 7, 64-bit.

My theme-related user-settings:

"color_scheme": "Packages/User/predawn (SL).tmTheme",
"findreplace_small": true,
"font_size": 8,
"highlight_modified_tabs": true,
"overlay_scroll_bars": "enabled",
"sidebar_default": true,
"tabs_small": true,
"theme": "predawn.sublime-theme"

Thank you in advance for your time.

Adjust line padding in the find/replace bar.

When using a custom line_padding_top/line_padding_bottom it affects the find/replace input fields and make them unaligned with the buttons. I don't know if it would be possible to either make the buttons aligned with the fields, or ignore the custom line_paddings settings.

Confusing colors of quotations/URLs

screen shot 2014-07-22 at 4 38 38 pm

In the screenshot above, I have some SCSS code using the predawn color scheme, however, its confusing to have the quotes and URL's greyed out as seen above, as it makes them look like comments. Maybe change the color to something different?

Show recent open file with italic text in its tab

The default ST3 theme comes with a very useful feature:

When you click on the sidebar on any file (single click) a new tab is opened but its tab name has italic text. If you do doble click on the file or modify the file then it becomes normal text. Until that, if you click on other file in the sidebar the file overrides the previous file tab.

Predawn themes, however, always shows the tab text in normal font.

Find panel misaligned

The find panel seems misaligned and needs to be aligned to the bottom of the window. See screenshot attached.

Theme is broken.

So I got the update today, and here is the screenshot

Inline JS

Great theme!

...However, a bit too much green in inline JavaScript / jQuery? What do you think?

Tab height?

Is it possible to customize the tab height? It just feels overly tall to me, as a personal preference.

Theme broken in ST3 Build 3063

Related to #51, #52. You might want to reopen one of those two tickets and close this one.

I've tried:

  • setting the new dev flags
  • restarting ST3 multiple times
  • reinstalling predawn

Tab Small

Hi, when I am writing "tabs_small": true and save i get error "Error typing to parse settings: Unexpected character, expected a comma or closing bracket C:\User\ ... Sublime Text 2\Packages\User\Preferences.sublime-settings:4:1 ..... please advice

Tab Colors

I really didn't like the tab colors, just a personal preference. The inactive tabs were too dark for me. I simply switched the background image used for hover and inactive and it looks a lot better, again, in my opinion. The darker hover causes the file text top pop more on hover and the lighter inactive tabs cause a separation from everything else that is much more pleasing to the eye. Not really a bug or anything but a suggestion none the less.

Replace field missing in "Find in Files..."

When I select "Find in Files..." from the menu, the replace with field is missing. If I turn off predawn, it is back. Any ideas around if this is me or broken in the theme?

File icons in Atom

This is my new favourite theme for Atom, great work!

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with the File Icons plugin and I've grown rather attached to it. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Font size for console/widget

Hello.

Is there a way to change the font size only for the console (but not for the find/replace bar)?
I use a font: 10 setting for the main screen, and the font: 15 for the console is too large

Tnak you,
Dan Popescu

New selection color.

Change to file flatland-alt.tmTheme. For better selection color.

SCSS highlighting in .tmTheme?

Not sure if this is just an issue with my set up for the tmTheme โ€“ but properties and class and ID names are all the same color when using the predawn.tmTheme. Screenshots attached showing differences between predawn and TomorrowNight Eighties.

Latest update removed sidebar icons

The latest (automatic) predawn update killed the sidebar icons. Am I supposed to update my config with a new flag?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Close button for sidebar

The close button states should be more like tab bar buttons.
Suggestions:

  • only show close button when hover or dirty file
  • hover on file show gray close button like tab
  • hover on close button turns it white

No open folder icon

Hi!

I had several issues over the weekend, first, the folder icons completely disappeared, they were back in the latest version, but now I have another issue which is that the open folder icon is not shown.

In the left side bar, here is what I have:
no_open_folder
Even when a folder is open, the closed folder icon is displayed.

Thanks!

Weird hover effect

I'm experiencing some weird hover effect on the "regulare expressions" option in the find bar. The icon is smaller.
