Yowza. I'll hack on it to see what's up. It was working fine for me on 2.0.2 but I must have changed something since I upgraded to 3. Thanks for letting me know./

I believe it was user error. I didn't rename the folder before placing it in the with Packages. So my path reflected the actual folder name but clearly that broke the styling. Once I renamed the folder, it worked.
