You need to use 80 or 443 port for streaming to FB or Youtube.
What graphics card are you on? And what resolution do you try to encode?

On a related note, I occasionally get a crash within FBCapture.dll at the same time the RTMP error above is output. There might be some race condition occurring when the RTMP connection fails.

I found that you need to simply append the stream key to the server URL. However, I needed to change the port from 80 to the standard RTMP port 1935. I'm not sure if this is an issue on Facebooks end or possibly the firewall at my work. So the "streamURL" argument now looks like the following:
rtmp://live-api-s.facebook.com:1935/rtmp/<StreamKey>
I'm still having reliability issues with the SDK. It will still crash on occasion or the connection will just drop out mid stream. Also, I'm not able to get anywhere near real-time performance.
