Vitej, kolego :)
I too am afraid that any translation would grow out of date even more than the book itself.

My main concern is translations becoming outdated, especially since Cuberite is a pretty small project without active teams working on translations. This has already become a minor issue in our Android app.

It's nowhere near complete, but if it was completed, then I would accept translations.

Just to be prepared for the future, why don't split the book folder in different language files? (en, es, ge, ca)

Sounds like a good idea. I'll work on it today.

With language files I meant language folders, and the files inside.

Would Transifex be of use? I used it in other projects and it is very convenient.

Can you explain a bit more about how the service works and how it would fit into our workflow?
from users-manual.
- The maintainer uploads the file to be translated, e.g.
strings-en.xml
to Transifex. - Translators log in to Transifex, pick their language, and get a list of all untranslated sentences in that particular language. They can translate some or all of them.
- The maintainer occasionally downloads all the generated
strings-xx.xml
files, wherexx
is any translated language. And pushes them to git. - When the maintainer updates and re-uploads
strings-en.xml
, the changed/added sentences appear at Transifex for the translators to re-translate.
We have several files though, so I wonder if it fits the workflow. I was on the translator side of this, so I don't know exactly how it is set up / integrated with git (if at all). The general flow is as described above.
