Screen saver on charge screen.. The configured screen saver can displayed on the charge screen....

I believe "Screen Saver" is a better alternative "Screen Protector" and will avoid confusion with "Temperature Protection".

Temperature mode seems to be working incorrectly.
Setup:
Device name: eVic-VTC Mini
Firmware version: 3.03
Hardware version: 1.00
[email protected]/20W

original3.0.x:
Provides stable vapor (with PERIODIC "popping" sounds) already at ~195C.
Average actual wattage is ~19W.

myevic:
Starts to provide "useful" vapor (with RANDOM "popping" sounds) only at ~250C and is unstable.
Protection triggered almost immediately after pressing fire button.
Actual wattage is <5W with random jumps to maximum.
It seems like resistance is climbing much slower than on original firmware.
Power mode, with same conditions, is working as on the original firmware.

Is it reverse action or I don't understand TDom?

Days go through 0 to 30 and monthes 0 to 11.

When I increase power, evic vtwo mini suddenly shutdown and don't turn on no more. Via USB charge nothing shown on display. What's happening? Evic is dead.. Don't have any pc at this moment (1day) to check connect with pc.

I was wondering if someone can help to define what the shunt resistance actually is. Is it the resistance of the actual hardware circuit that is always there and hence all measured resistances are shifted by that value, like a permanent bias?

Would it be possible to create an Custom Firmware (maybe called myRX) like your myevic for the Wismec RX200S - RX2/3?

Maybe it is possible to get the source for the Firmware the Same way you got it for the VTC.

The usual way does not work (when you hold Fire during flashing counter).

When the main screen protection settings on 5s or 10s and modifying the third line info the device can go to screen saver screen...

Battery voltage reads a constant 3.99V on the VTwo Mini

Issue is under investigation.

On fully charged battery after pressing the fire button in TC mode the battery voltage drops below 3.10 volts for a second and my VTCmini reports "weak battery". Then the battery percentage gradually returns to real value.

I don't want but do occasionally vape inhaling for more than 5 seconds.

But IMHO some bug at the end.
Mod gives "Long fire protection" and display freeze at this phrase, you need to press fire to return to main screen.
I think, better no freeze, pause 3-5 sec and automatic return to main screen.

Little bug: when the device in sleep mode press the plus or minus button. Nothing happen but only fire wakes up the device

I am about to purchase a Wismec Presa TC 100 W and was wondering if the firmware would also work on that device? I don´t really need the 100 W, just because of the size as 25m clearomizer looks crap on the Presa TC 75 W which I already own. So I am wondering, if I do not need the 100 W capabilit,y, can the My Evic firmware also be flashed to a Presa TC 100 W?

FiveClicks event is not working reliably.

I am able to turn my mod off/on only in 1 of 5 attempts.
Some times, after several attempts, my mod end-up with random numbers spread across the screen and require a battery pull-up to get it working again.

At the current moment each menu and submenu contains item "Exit" that closes entire menu at all.
It would be better if each submenu will contain "Back" item, that will returns to the previous menu.
So we get convenient navigation.

I am addicted to your mod myevic and the only missing feature is the digital clock/date and I would be so happy to have it but don't know how to do it myself.

Dataflash contains a magic number tested at startup to ensure DF validity.
This number changes with the model of the box.
Only the VTC mini ensures parameters recovery when changing firmware between myevic and OFW.
Should be fixed for other boxes.

I think, need make a percentage of primary power in preheat, because if we change primary power, we need change preheat power. I think it will be more convenient.

It would be great for me to see puff, time and clock on the screen at the same time .
And battery as digit is enough.
Better yet would be to get the statistical number that reflects the speed of liquid intake.

With the new version of firmware VTwo Mini (not VTC Mini) does not work. After upgrading black screen and nothing more. Previous versions worked fine.

If we have have logo we can use it for screen saver. Not a big thing only the moving logo what moves x and y axis random direction and speed.

First, sorry for my bad english.
I found a bug. If you hide the Ni and Ti modes but the SS not, you cant select Temp SS just you select that befor hide another temp modes. This issue like if hide Ni and SS but Ti not and you want select Ti. This works only when you hide only unselected modes.
Another issue the bypass mode... The calculated wattage not correct... 2.03ohm and 3,75V battery print 37,6W.. But this is 6,9W in real....
Third issue is the board temp in 3rd line... I think this is only positioning problem or string lenght problem. I don't know. I haven't got any time now for checking code, but next week maybe i will check it.

eVic VTC mini HV:1.01 after update to latest version (23092016) can't connect to NFE Edition-Configuration, hangs on downloading settings.
With myevic_fork firmware everything works properly so it looks that problem is not related to hw.

Triggering Screen mirroring/rotation causes BSOD (BlackScreenOfDeath).
To reproduce (steps 4-7 are optional):

1. Turn off the device (FiveClick)
2. Press and hold + and - buttons until screen rotates
3. Wait until screen goes off
   _4. Turn the device on (FiveClick)
4. Do anything
5. Turn off the device (FiveClick)
6. Press and hold + and - buttons until screen rotates_
7. Observe BSOD

To restore normal operation, re-insert the battery.

im not sure about the board specs in the (vtwo mini) and the input voltage, but what if it could handle two 18650 batteries (in series or parallel battery config) this will make its battery life so good and leads us to the next point

so i saw this post about hacking the (vtc mini) to make it operate up to 100 watts 😮

It would be useful to see third line also on screen saver and charge screens in order to inspect Battery Voltage or Board Temperature.

I've got some problem. I don't know which packages and compillers needed. I think not a bad idea how you make a list with required packages and tools with versions what U are using for compiling. I've got some problem with python-evic and evic-sdk because I don't find a good instructon for ubuntu/mint.

Now I get this error when I try to compile:

The request not to use inversion at the choice of menu items.
The OLED screen is subject to burning out therefore very small inverted font can't be read.
Especially it is critical at installation of time and date.

Replace, for example, with blinking, or underlining.

1st idea:
IMO the preheat is a good thing but the power setting is not...
If I replace my tank to another with another resistance what needed another power very annoying thing how I need edit the preheat value...
I think better way how you make some preprogrammed value like this:
Soft : Power + 1W
Normal: Power + 3W
Hard: Power + 5W
Extra: Power + 7W
This values only ideas...

2nd idea:
I think a better way for editing the resistances a submenu seems like TCR Set or Preheat...

3rd idea:
A menu for resetting puff counter, puff time and maybe setting the puff limit..

4th idea:
On main screen before or after the battery meter a percentage battery indicator or percentage in battery image

Long press fire button to save time settings doesn't work properly on last firmware version. Just next parameter starts blinking. Only "Fire and +" or "- and +" combinations allows to exit but it doesn't save settings

After flashing EVIC VTC mini 75w firmware from the folder bin - myevic_enc.bin (3.10, https://github.com/ClockSelect/myevic)- It pierced through a file of official firmware, then there is no formal regime titanium and S316.
And sews through emergency vostanovlenie (+ clip, and then connecting yusb), using officially 1.02 does not restore modes.
The official firmware 3.0, 3.01 all modes. - poower - yes/bypass - yes/start - yes/tempni - yes/temp Ti - yes/ ss316 - eys/tcr - yes/
Starting with firmware 3.02 mode of titanium and 316 missing. - poower - yes/bypass - yes/start - yes/tempni - yes/temp Ti - no/ ss316 - no/tcr - yes/
When you reinstall - myevic_enc.bin - poower - yes/bypass - yes/start - yes/tempni - yes/temp Ti - no/ ss316 - no/tcr - yes/ - the firmware on your flash when you turn on in the settings, they are not displayed when you switch. included exposing yes, does not help in the menu.
Help solve this problem.

the Real time clock on the 3rd info line gets stuck on displaying the time of last activity(like if you press a button at 00:00:00 it stays there until you press another button, and so on).

This is a very nice firmware, so many great features and I just saw that joytech also implemented preheat in their newest firmware v5.04(Sep 2nd). Did they steal that function code from you?

There is just one Battery percentage feature missing that I used in NFirmwareEditor.
Is it possible to add?

When uploafing this firmware the device not reboot. In NFirmwareEditor shows: Software version: 0.0 and Boot mode: LDROM....
After removing the battery and place back the issue not solved but when I connect the USB and then put in the battery the device is working fine.. If powering off the device, I can power it on... But if the battery removed and put in the device not booting only when the USB connected witc charger....
Another thing the clock... When in the 3rd line clock selected and firing the clock goes very fast.

After uploading your firmware hardware version in the dataflash erased with following bytes FF FF FF FF.
This can "brick" the device after rolling back to the stock firmware, since they are using this data to initialize correct LCD - 1306 or 1327.

Also, reset dataflash function does not restore correct HW Ver.
The only way is to manually edit dataflash and then upload it.

Hello! I really like the firmware, thank you for what you are doing.
I have an idea. On eVic installed OLED display, and the pixels on them burn out. This is especially the case in the battery meter zone. I suggest add "Screen Burn" or "Screen Recovery" mode - when device is turned off and charging, all of the pixels on the screen will be switched on and off. I think if you leave eVic work in a couple of nights mode, the brightness of all pixels will be equal :)

If press - button when 10% preheat it goes to 750% :)
Another thing, when you switch to "precold" like 10% and exit you can't modify anymore only change unit...
Today and maybe tomorrow I can't make any changes because my laptop in my workspace...

I see in NFirmwareEditor patch that could do 3 digits after dots in ohm meter and I use that on my presa until I see your firmware. It will be very good to see that in myevic.
And I think that 10/15/30 sec dim would be fine option because 1 min is somethimes too much for me.

I think the ml/Day feature is a dope idea:) However, just letting you know that I´ve vaped 5ml today already and it shows average of 0.40ml/day right now, which is way to far off. I know it´s experimental, but if you need any kind of input from users, let me know, I am ready to help:)
