This needs to be easy to plug in the Timeline control to simplify the thumbnail generation.

Due to Async Parallel Shader compilation, it looks like the image processing is generating bugs if called to early.

To enhance the visual look, add an option to reuse the closest loaded thumbnail as a loading texture.

This code is used in flipgrid code to render the timeline component. In a child window where the global window object is not the correct one, this line fails and the feed becomes upside down. Similar to BabylonJS/Babylon.js#13391

I wonder if there's a way to allow user to scroll through the thumbnails instead of using a slider.

The images in the timeline are not showing (see screen shoot). Used the default version of Edge installed w/ Windows 10 (Microsoft Edge 44.18362.267.0).

Pause the video whilst scolling.
