Describe the bug
While looking over the translations of your add-on, I noticed that some of the language codes used in resources/language/ are incorrect.
Describe the bug
I'm using HBO Spain. I tried to search for a movie using the word "señal", the addon displayed an error message and the search wasn't performed.
It also fails if I enter a word with "ç", so it seems that it fails when using non ASCII characters.
To Reproduce
Go to the search option in the addon, type "señal".
Expected behaviour
It shouldn't fail and display the search results.
Operating System
It also fails in a nvidia shield.
The log also shows some error messages regarding thumbnails.

Is it possible to add Trakt https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...rakt+addon
The following package names are incorrect and should be replaced with these
wheel -> python-wheel
pycryptodomex -> python-pycryptodome
Also, the package names can be passed to apt install at once, which makes things quicker and simpler, so instead of what you have now in the 'OPTIONAL' section you should simply add this:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install python-pip python-setuptools build-essential python-wheel python-pycryptodome libnss3 libnspr4
The reboot is also unnecessary.

Describe the bug
I've enforced the subtitle settings from Kodi for English and Finnish subtitles. Subtitles remain grayed out after video starts playing.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:
Start playing a video
Look for subtitles, nothing there
Expected behaviour
Kodi should start automatically using the subtitle that is set for default.

It looks like it uses a different structure and api. Investigation and more info from someone local that uses it and have access id needed to evaluate the possibility of adding it to this add-on.

Describe the bug
I got info from plugin that some software from Chrome needs to be installed. I chose YES but then when it tried to start 2GB download I cancelled it. Now it seems that plugin "thinks" that newer version of Chrome has been installed, but it was not. Movies do not play.
I tried to completely uninstall plugin and wipe settings, but after new installation it still does not play. I think I need to reset the plugin so it downloads Chrome again. But it is not reset by clearing settings. How do I reset it manually?

When asked to update chose YES. When asked to download 2GB answer NO. Then no movies play.

The question I have is whether it would be possible to somehow connect your HBO GO EU with the TMDB scraper. Everything would look great as if HBO GO EU downloaded covers from TMDB.

Subtitles for not always work on some shows. It seems to be consistent for any given show if the subtitles works or not.
I'm connecting to HBO Nordic in Norway and one show that does not have working subs is The Office (US).
Subtitles for this show works fine in the browser, but they do not seem to be detected in this add-on. No subtitles are available from the subtitles menu.
Subtitles seem to work for most other shows.

I'm using HBO Spain. I noticed that subtitles never use the italic format (normally used for songs or words in other languages).
In the original subtitle files the <span> tag is used to mark them but it seems the conversion done in ttml2srt.py ignores that tag.
My knowledge about python is almost zero but I managed to write this patch which seems to fix the problem:

Hi, I have already contacted you somewhere else regarding the same problem. You have answered that the problem must be in my OS. Unfortunately I have tried to test it on 3 different devices (rpi2, rpi3, rpi3B+), and 2 different OS (OSMC, LibreELEC) each. Your addon is always installed from the official repo in OS'. What I get is still the same issue. After the installation and loging in, I can watch movies, everything seems to be fine. But then after some time it asks for my credentials over and over again. Everything works back again when I re-login. But only until a certain moment when it all goes over again. I have thought about the idea of limitations coming from HBO GO servers. Not sure but if I remember well, 4 registered and 2 streaming devices at the same time. But that should be out of this issue. One single registered and streaming device is causing the same problem. I am registering via sledovanitv.cz provider using my e-mail and password credentials (if that's any important). All used OS and your addons were the latest Leia builds.

I run the latest version of the addon on Kodi x86 v18.4 on a W10 x64 system
The addon start, but when I want to play a movie I receive error message and the movie does not start.

It looks like it uses a different structure and api. Investigation and more info from someone local that uses it and have access id needed to evaluate the possibility of adding it to this add-on.

Describe the bug
The addon does not list the full selection of available movies or TV series when selecting the "All Series" or "All movies". The TV series ends at S, even though I know shows that start with W are available.

This is a retropie distribution on a raspberry pi , with kodi installed from the official repository (Kodi version 18.2).
Since is seems to be a memory problem, I tried to increase the swap size. It made no difference.
The ImputStream Helper information shows:

Raspberry Pie 2. The movie plays smoothly but in low resolution (416x234 px) and 8 fps. All the CPU are at 30% or lower all the time. One of the CPU meters is often higher then the other three, at 20% or so, rare jumps up to 30%.

I can't say I expected my Raspberry 2 to handle the playback very well, since it can't handle NetFlix in full resolution, but since the statistics show low numbers on the CPUs when playing the film from HBO, there may be room for improvements? Now there is low resolution and a low number of frames per second (8).

Some features are missing from the Spain/Nordic version My List, Add/Remove from my list, voting, search.
If someone is willing to log all these actions with chrome developer tools and post the log I can fix it (be informed that the log will probably contain your credentials so remove them before sending the log with a text editor search and replace function, and change your password after taking the log):

Open the Network TAB
Check the preserve log checkbox, perform all these actions, and also play a video for few minutes so i have actions around playback logged as well.
After you performed all these actions save the log (right-clik on the list to show the context menu)

For a few operators, the login is not performed directly using the hbogo api.
Instead, the user is redirected to the operator website the login is performed there, and then the operator login the user on hbogo and redirect back.
What exactly happens and how, will have to be figured out and then implemented in the add-on for those operators to work.
Impossible for me to fix and test since I don't have access to one of these operators.
If someone using one of the listed above operators want to help fix the issue let me know here.
