xtools-legacy's Issues

Restructure X!'s tools GUI

As it is, the interface of the tools, is both outdated and inconsistent, not to mention some if it depends on resources that no longer exist. The graphic user interface should be updated to be consistent design.

Patrol stats

Would be great to have patrol stats in addition to admin stats :)

Activate surface for Hungarian language

Hi! Your tools are really great, thank you for your work.

I would like to ask you to activate the Hungarian language for the tools. It is only partly localized 1, but it is easier to translate if we can see how it looks like. And the motivation is bigger to finalize the translation :)

RTL languages

For RTL Languges like farsi- arabic-Hebrew please set labels RTL spesialy
monthcounts id=monthcounts should be RTL

License

xtools should list the license it uses on github. It's not required but I suspect (maybe I'm wrong!) xtools is not "all rights reserved", which is how we're forced to treat it in the absence of a license.

Range contributions: results by time

Would it be possible to have a switch in the url to display only results by time, or to put results by time first. This is the most useful part of the data as far as identifying IP hopping disruption goes and it would save a lot of scrolling if this was placed first, or at least immediately after the short table of basic information.

a follow problem with "Page History"

Thank you for issue #24 .
But it's intrensting that Some pages with real name also can't check which Maybe it's not the problem of the Automatic conversion, such as "Wikipedia:互助客栈/消息" in zh.wp(real name, with conversion system), "ソードアート・オンライン" in ja.wp ( real name, no conversion system). I can't understand what the hell happened.

A solution which it‘s from your xtool.js is maybe good for the problem, which it's search the pageid of the page first.
Using MediaWiki API, the action parameter is "query", the titles parameter is the page name. Which I am not sure that if the wiki has used the Automatic conversion, the result which it's "action=quuery&meta=siteinfo&siprop=general" will have 's list in the tag. Beacause of this,we can add the converttitles parameter if the wiki has the Automatic conversion. From the query, We can get the pageid of what we check the page name.Using the pageid as the page's identity to find the info about the page in the program.

That's I think about it.

Avoid LanguageTools in names

Feature request Disable checking against LanguageTools rules against names (e.g. names of places, movies, tv shows, etc..) For example "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" as well as "Kenny Koala and Cooee the Gum Nut Fairy" are reported as errors on the Animatronics article as referenced here: X! Tools page check of Animatronics

I imagine this to be a common occurrence amongst names which could be avoided by avoiding text within quotation marks or some other syntax.

Missing project error messages

If the project parameter is missing from the GET request, it should display that the project parameter is missing. It is currently displaying a weird message with what looks like a static call to a function. Even better would be to have it default to en.wikipedia.org.

Autoblock messages

If no auto blocks are found, a message should say so rather than display a blank table.

Edit counter does not display correct data

The edit counter does not seem to be up to date. It does not show any edits from October 25 until today (October 28). Is this a data source issue as other tools, e.g. User Contribution Search, show the same issue? Will the missing data be added?

¿A easy API for bots?

Hello, How to connect a bot to the edit counter with a simple api?
Sorry for the bad english, I'm Colombian :)

Mistranslated text in editcounter

The translated Chinese heading ("罪恶") for the block statistics (under Admin actions) shows in all languages including the English one. Moreover, "罪恶" means "sin" in Chinese, which is quite harsh and may be considered offensive. I'd suggest "封禁" ("block" - consider changing the original text as well) which is neutral. This message is also missing from Translatewiki.

Contributors and dates listed: error now (worked well previously)

Previously contributors listed in history were the same as contributors listed in x-Tools; but to-day there is a wrong list. Example: I've just created this page: https://fr.wikisource.org/w/index.php?title=Wikisource:Extraits/2014/29&action=history

and x-Tools gives this list of dates and contributors: https://tools.wmflabs.org/xtools/articleinfo/index.php?pageid=1748343&project=fr.wikisource.org&uselang=fr

Is it broken for other people too? It was such a wonderful and precious tool, I look forward to seing it back if it is possible!

Some pages can't been found when using “Page history” with the wiki project which used the Automatic conversion

I come from zh.wp.

When I use “Page history” to check the page with converted name ,such as "刀剑神域",it will return a error which is "No revisions found ".But If check the page with real name
, such as "刀劍神域",it will return correct information."刀剑神域" is equal of "刀劍神域".

Maybe the function to get page title isn't friendly for the wiki project which used the Automatic conversion. So I hope it can be fixed. Thanks you for help.

Some Information maybe is helpful.

  1. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Automatic_conversion_between_simplified_and_traditional_Chinese
  2. In Mediawiki API,When it's 'action=query',the parameter "converttitles" will make the parameter "titles" change to the page of original name.

Update homepage or top bar to link all tools

Currently the home redirects to pcount and the top bar links https://wiki.toolserver.org/view/User:Tparis/Index which is incomplete and has dead links.

implement cratstats

As you already have adminstats I don't imagine cratstats would be very hard to implement :)
