unity-pbr's Issues

[1.X.X] Issue Description

Describe the Issue
A clear and concise description of what the issue is.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior or see the issue:

  • Example 1: Look at x block.
  • Example 2: Open up y GUI.
  • Example 3: At z o'clock, look at the sun, turn around 4.5 times, crouch, punch a tree.

Expected Behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to see. If it's just an issue with how it is implemented, offer suggestions on how this could be improved (also submit a suggestion next time).

Screenshots
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Additional Context
Add any other context about the problem here. Do you happen to have any mods installed? Do you have any other resource packs enabled? Are you using OptiFine?

[1.16.1] Unity PBR Materials (SEUS Shader Support)

Note: If you're going to make something that has shader support, you should try contacting the shader creator that it was made for, and try to work together to make it happen!

Just a few minutes in and messing around with settings, I've come to notice that it seems the reflections on objects like iron/diamond/gold blocks only reflect properly if the Metalness option is set to A. I'm using E12 as suggested and they don't work properly or entirely how it was programmed until I changed it from g (based off the provided screenshot you guys provided above)

Metalness - A/G example:

With Metalness - G, the iron and gold block is hardly affected at all to the point that it looks like it doesn't even work on them (tho it does, at certain angles and darker areas.)

I've also noticed that reflections on reflective objects, like an iron block, don't work underwater regardless of what option I choose.

Such as this weird visual effect that only lets reflections work to a certain distance and oversaturated red.

Anything else I need to know or any questions that want to be asked, please do!

Wish we could get Sonic Ether involved in this thread ๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm assuming there's a lot of things that are caused by the shaders and the resource pack separately, inadvertently causing more problems with each other, but this was only a few minutes of fooling around.

Chest and Ender Chest textures bugged when using SEUS PTGI HRR 3.

Describe the Issue
The chest and ender chest textures are bugged, allowing you to see through some parts

To Reproduce
Look at any kind of chest.

Expected Behavior
Cross shaped gap in the textures. Every side.

Additional Context
The only mods i have that change ingame textures in some way are 3D Skin Layers, Quark/Quark Oddities, and Client Tweaks. I'm only using Mod Resources and Unity (Dark Mode). I am using Optifine.

1.12.2 Combatability?

Hello! It didn't feel right to put this in "Issues" so I put it here. I just have a couple questions about the resource packs- but mainly about 1.12.2 compatibility. Now I could have missed it, but some of your packs have this compatibility and some don't. I was just wondering if you could add this compatibility, or have already done so and it just isn't on the CurseForge page. The following; Unity: Modded, SEUS PTGI, & Unity: Extras; all don't have this, but I'm mainly here on that I can't get the shader/SEUS PTGI, since it only goes down to 1.14.4, yet the main resource pack goes down to 1.12.2. If I would request anything it would just be compatibility for that.

I'm saying this since 1.12.2 is a large hot spot with a lot of mods, and some mods even stopped being made after 1.12.2, it would actually bring a lot more people to the resource pack if you added this compatibility.
