PCL tracking with Kinect2Grabber

Hello,

first of all thank your for providing documentation and pre-built binaries for PCL and writing the Kinect v2 Grabber.

We are having troubles using the PCL tracking sample in combination with your Kinect2Grabber. We have installed PCL using your pre-built binaries (http://unanancyowen.com/?p=1255&lang=en) and the Kinect2Grabber sample runs properly.

We modified the tracking_smaple.cpp from PCL (https://github.com/PointCloudLibrary/pcl/blob/master/doc/tutorials/content/sources/tracking/tracking_sample.cpp), but we can't get it running.
It throws an access violation exception as soon as the programm starts (see image).

What are we doing wrong?

Problem with Kinect Grabber v1 and Visual Studio 2012

Hi,
first of all, thanks for the grabber, it´s very useful. I found a problem when compiling the sample project with Visual Studio 2012 and the PCL all-in-one package for VS2012. When I run the project in Debug it works, slow, but it works. When I try to run the project in Release it crashes when tries to show the cloud, i tried to see what is happening, but i´m not sure. I checked that the pointcloud that the callback receives is not null, but still the PCLViewer crashes giving an exception in the pcl_visualization.dll.

Thanks,
Sergio

Kinectgrabber is not running in win32 configuration

Hi,

I have couple of doubts regarding usage of kinectgrabber inside my win32 application.

  1. When i compile kinectgrabber in win32 configuration, it is giving this error
LNK1112: module machine type 'x64' conflicts with target machine type 'X86'.
  2. I was working on win32 application, i want to include grabber functionality icp for merging and aligning two pointclouds inside my win32 application in my own viewport. I need to pass pointclouds from my win32 application inside kinectgrabber.

my system configuration:
windows 8.1
kinect for windows sdk2.0
visual studio 2012

Please suggest me what function can i use to achieve this.

Thanks
Sujith
