I like the idea of having the user need to "select" neutral for each criteria rather than potentially accidentally leaving them that way.

The CSS has media selector for "@media (min-width: 576px)", that is where the transition happens (below the 3 blocks are below each other, at 576px and above they are side by side), I think the if icons/buttons were used they could also be re-styled purely from CSS this way.

The sliders also have issues on desktop: When they are still focused, using the mouse wheel while hovering over them won't scroll the page, but change the slider (at least in Firefox). This can accidentally change your vote.
