When I press the thumb sticks in the respective directions the sabers don't spin. I'm using the index with the index controllers. the throwing feature works fine but no mater what I press the sabers don't spin
when ever i throw my saber my custom saber does not fly away a new saber spawns and mine is still in my hand.
Don't know why please help

The Spinning with the Joystick doesn't work on my Index (with Index Controller)
Is this a mod issue or is a Controler Configuration needet to use the Joystick in BeatSaber?

My issue is that the plugin won't update to 1.1.2. In-game the mod tells me that there is a newer version, but that is what I installed.
The zip file has the version in it's name, so I couldn't have mistaken it.
This issue still persists in Beat Saber 1.20.0.
Twice now I have thrown or flipped a saber, and it got stuck getting thrown or continues to flip and I can't get it to stop. I bound flip saber to stick up so when every I try and use a menu, it scrolls up, and my left trigger is stuck pressed down. I have tried uninstalling Trick Saber, all of my mods, and Beat Saber itself and deleted the options file in my appdata folder, but the issue is still there. (It does not happen in any other games) Please Help!
I downloaded the new updated version but when i go into my mods folder it says tricksaber 1.0.0 and it wont let me use my custom sabers but it will only let me use the original beatsaber sabers
When i go into a level without presing any buttons the sabers start floating away (im using the oculus rift s) i have used tricksaber before
My Saber ist just laying on the ground, i tried changing some settings but there was no solution. Bug fix would be really appreciatet! Thank you for your work on this amazing mod!
it spawns a saber in the crotch area
I mean now it feels weird to having to pull the trigger when you are supposed to throw it out.
In RawData it feels more natural by holding the trigger down, and throw the sword by releasing the trigger,
Either Noodle or just Mapping Extension, some notes just don't register after being sliced and just say MISS. Basically failing out of the song for no reason.
Also I do have a suggestion. When you spin the sabers, the trail stays in place as if the saber is not spinning. Not sure if you had plans on doing so but maybe have the trail follow the saber's spin movement.
If you do tricks, I would suggest the spinning, your Sabers won't interact.
This will allow you to just do tricks when a few tricky bombs appear. Allowing you to cheat.
As suggested in #5 it should keep interactions of the Saber separate from the visuals so they'll keep working correctly. I'm not sure how hard this is or that the Sabers hit detection might be hardcoded to the model?
An alternative would be to force the tricks to collide with bombs. But this way it would still modify the gameplay and affect the scoring. Which is a no no.

I'm unsure if it's something I'm not doing correct or not however when I am in game it won't allow me to press the trigger to allow me to do tricks, like it doesn't allow me to release my sabers.
I'm currently running on a HTC Vive Cosmos Elite and whilst I'm in game it shows that TrickSaber is enabled and the config is set to my Vive triggers, sorry to be a pain but I'm just really adamant on playing with TrickSaber :0 ๐
I really hope this mod gets updated soon. Those spinning sabers would be so cool to show off to friends who come over to play VR with me.
Wouldn't something like this fall more inline with the Beat Saber logo style?

I mainly changed the font to the same a Beat Saber, adjusted it to keep the same spacing and gave the inners of the tubes including the saber the iconic white glow while the outer is still the same color.
Trick saber and dependencies are loaded in respected folders. Not showing up on my ingame dash. Tried both older version + newest update with no luck. Running on 1.18.3. Help!
I am using Plasma Katanas as my sabers and every time I throw them, they despawn and spawn again. This bug (is it though?) appeared after 0.3.0 update.
The thing which bothers me is the fact that I really like those sabers and they have spawn animation with sound. So every time I throw my sabers, I am hearing the spawn sound two times - on a throw and on a catch.
Is it possible to fix this, or am I AWOL because of the sabers I use?

This fixed my issues and I can now throw and spin the sabers no problem.
The video shows the Oculus touch controllers but it's the same process with the Index controllers.

Hi i cant seem to find trick saber anywhere for the 1.18 and .1 .2 .3 series at all, am i missing something or was it never updated for those version, if not is there a possibility it will be soon as im on 1.18.3 and loved using tricksaber but now cant

So im not sure how to exactly discribe it but basicly the sabers will act as the rigger is held and float off and will spin if the trigger is held as if your pressing the thumb pad.

The issue: The sabers fly away / spin / vibrate my controllers right when a song starts / throughout the entire song.
What I've tried to do: I saw that DynamicOpenVR.BeatSaber was not compatible, so I removed the files, issue persisted, I did a full wipe of all mods and fresh-installed beatsaber, loaded tricksaber only along with mod assistant, issue persisted.
NOTE; Trick saber actually worked for 1 beatsaber session with mod assistant. The problem began only when I downloaded BeatSaberCustomAvatars, DynamicOpenVR / DynamicOpenVR.BeatSaber
Even after fresh wipes and installs with tricksaber as the only loaded mod, the issue persists now.
I ran through 1 song without touching my controllers at all and pulled the logs, hopefully this helps somehow;

I've seen that other people have had this issue and yesterday I did not. When I first had this issue I just downloaded a new saber factory version and it worked just fine but today the glitch is happening again and idk if its a problem with my versions or a problem with some mods I have. I saw something saying a specific mod wont work with it and that mod can mess the sabers up but I don't have that mod (if it even is a mod) and I believe it was called DynamicOpenVR.BeatSaber but I only have DynamicOpenVR.
I followed the guide you have set up in the Releases info, but when I opened the game, TrickSaber did the opposite of what the controls were supposed to do. When I use the normal Index controls it does the same thing. As soon as I load into a map the sabers disappear to the sky, and if I hold the triggers they return to me then immediately start spinning infinitely. When I release the triggers it will throw the sabers, but I have to hold the triggers to maintain them in my hands.
EDIT:
So I attempted a reinstall of TrickSaber to see if that cleared the issue, it didn't, but with all settings of TrickSaber disabled, the triggers still throw sabers as normal.
basically, when you do a trick like throwing the sabers, its only a visual thing, the hitboxes of the sabers stay where they are, so that you can hit blocks normally.
this would allow for keeping my saber thrown while playing normally. it would be harder since i cant see the saber, but i wouldnt miss notes when the saber is just that close to being returned to my hand.
it only works with saber factory
after instaling tricksaber i coudnt enter any names for highscores in partymode. after deleting the tricksaber.ddl file it worked again... any fixxes?
i got it and installed it to beat saber but it won't wor and i am on beat saber 1.16.2
Hello, I remember reading to contact you if using a Valve Index. So here I am.
No matter what I configure I got no function at all. With Oculus everything works :)
When trigger is pressed nothing happens as well as joystick, I have Saber factory and SirvaUtil 3 already downloaded. This probably has to do with the new update though I tried installing Trick Saber before ost 5 and it didn't work either which makes me very confused.
So I don't know if it is just me, but every time I download the new version 1.1.2, in game it says it is 1.1.1 and it doesn't work at all. I have tried everything in the setting I can think of to fix it, but I am unable to do anything with the mod. And every time I go looking in on other issues the only answer that is given is, "it has been fixed." Is there something I am missing on how to fix this problem, or did something happen and the mod is just forever dead?

The lightsaber does not turn, but it can be thrown out. The grip and pad of the vive controller do not work
Bound both Grip and Thumbstick to Spin, which makes sense with Velocity Dependent on, but it doesn't trigger regardless of what I do.
yes, I have deleted old version and tried over and over. I also do have saber factory.
also when i throw the saber it doesnt throw the custom saber it just makes a normal beat saber saber appear and get thrown in the direction i threw.
The plug-in is not working in the latest beat saber update
I have trigger set to spin the sabers but when I press them they don't spin.
The triggers work in the menu.
The issue started after I got DynamicOpenVR for custom avatars.
I've tried removing the .dll from plugins and putting a new one back in however it didnt fix it and it kept the same settings.
Are there known mod incompatibilities?

Installed 1.0.0 and after installation I loaded up Beat Saber and the game kept saying "Missed" on all the blocks so I restarted Beat Saber and Oculus and it still kept happening until I restarted Beat Saber with Tricksaber toggled off and started a song with TrickSaber still toggled off and pressed pause and enabled it in the pause menu and now it's working perfectly fine again. Not sure what caused it to happen.
