t440p's Issues

Touchpad scrolling

After I installed macOS, i cant use two fingers to scroll on the touchpad or use the middle button for the trackpoint to scroll. Apart from that everything works perfectly fine.

Keyboard not working

Hi, I followed the steps as per your guide but, the keyboard (and trackpad) is not working. I manged to install it with external usb based keyboard. I am new to Hackintosh setup. Do you have any idea about the issue? any fix I can try?

I installed on Thinkpad t440p.

Problem with Airport network card

I've been using previous version or this opencore build (airport version) fine. Yesterday updated opencore to latest version - everything worked fine. Tried updating Catalina to Big Sur afterwards - had some problems with AirportNetworkCard EFI version - install would fail, so switched to USBTethering EFI and upgrade went fine. But after updating and switching EFI back to AirportNetworkCard one - WiFi doesn't work. It's probably Big Sur related, since it was fine on Catalina... Any advice?

T440p unable to go to sleep

Hi Swanux, when i put the laptop to sleep, it blinks once then lights up again and wakes up by itself. The laptop also gets warm and instantly turns on the screen when i press any key. Doesn't look like the sleep is working. Do you encounter it?

Unclear element for setting up USB installer

Hi! Can I clarify these instructions? This is for the debug version.

9. Choose option 2, then drag the Config.plist from the EFI folder into the terminal.

Here, do you mean that we should drag Versions/Debug/EFI/OC/Config.plist into the terminal when prompted?

11. Copy EFI and SoundFix.zip folders to USB_EFI (if you're using EFI_DEBUG rename it to EFI after copying to USB, and copy original EFI as EFI_NORMAL or something like this)

Here, do you mean that we should then drag the folder Versions/Debug/EFI into the the EFI disk on the USB drive? So within the EFI disk, there is a separate EFI folder?

I was not sure what you meant by renaming, since the directories are named EFI in your repository.

I thought I made the right USB installer but apparently not. I got the following error when I tried to boot to the disk:
