Sorry about that – this project isn't totally finished yet – need to tidy up a few things ahead of an 'announcement' later today, but it looks like word slipped out sooner :)

The https://github.com/sveltejs/svelte-cli package will be released today.

Same problem here. Following the "getting started" guide on the website and doing a sudo npm install -g svelte-cli returns a 404.

It's working, except the command in installation section:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/svelte-cli

To clarify, if it's svelte or svelte-cli? I got it working with "-cli"

Yeah, it's svelte-cli – there was a typo in the README which is fixed on the repo itself. It'll update itself on npm as soon as we release a new version. Will close this issue now that it's out
