It's an hmr issue. So it would only evidence itself when you were running the app locally. It wouldn't show up running the app on StackBlitz.

Can confirm this
This also happens when deployed on Cloudflare Pages. But in vite preview transitions work fine
Edit: also seems to be broken for me on next.102, but next.90 works, so my issue might be a different one

Weird ... I was able to reproduce this bug locally with SvelteKit and starting from Svelte alpha 97, but doing a regular Svelte + Vite project even with the latest alpha produces no bug. Edit: Should've read the 'hmr' part 😅
