zed-oculus's Issues

Update to Oculus Quest 2

Preliminary Checks

  • This issue is not a duplicate. Before opening a new issue, please search existing issues.
  • This issue is not a question, bug report, or anything other than a feature request directly related to this project.

Proposal

Since Oculus Quest 2 has a larger resolution, this package would work even better with it. Where does one adjust the code for the 1832 x 1080 size image? Or could this read from a configuration file in order to set its image size? Perhaps a file that listed the different models of VR headsets. The configuration file could also adjust the HIT value as desired.

Use-Case

Attempting to use this to send images to VR headset to "see" as the robot is seeing, in near real time, without extra packages such as Unity, Steam, etc.

Anything else?

Video Recording

Hi folks,

works fine with my Oculus and ZED camera :)

Do you have any idea how to record videos such that they can be played again (or where to start changing the code)?

Thanks,
Marcel

Getting black images when using this tutorial with Oculus Rift

I'm trying to use this tutorial with the following setup:

  • Oculus Rift + Zed mini
  • Windows 10
  • Cuda v9.1
  • ZED SDK 2.3.3 (my zed mini camera doesn't work with the SDK 2.2)
  • SDL 2.0.8
  • Oculus SDK: 1.17.0

I'm able to build the setup and launch the program, however I just get black window. I have tested separately the Zed mini (using the explorer) and it's working correctly in 720 and 60fps. In addtion I'm able to see that the images area being read from the camera. So It seems that something is going wrong while trying to display these images using Cuda/OpenGL.

Following is a screen capture of the current output:

Please, could you take a look? any help is more thank welcome.

No output

The code is compiling, however no output is shown on the screen
