If I enable or disable vim mode, I have to take the extra step of clicking on the text in the editor in order to be able to manipulate the text. It should focus on the text automatically after switching vim mode on or off.
I write documentation in Sphinx using reStructuredText. While researching about a question or issue, I will make notes, and then copy that information over to the documentation once an initial version is complete.
I thought I would try and use the Code Editor to store some of these reST snippets. However, it appears there is limited/buggy syntax highlighting. The highlighting does not match that of Atom or Sublime Text.
The scrollbar does not display when using the Code Editor, regardless of language selected. Behavior is consistent whether the note is converted from the Plain Editor, or started fresh with Code Editor as default.
On Android with vim mode disabled if I long press the text I only get the "Paste" and "Select All" options; so no "Copy" or the ability to select some text in the editor.
On iOS with vim mode disabled if I long press the text I get no options at all - although on rare occasions I get the carets that allow me to copy a portion of the text.
Some may find the code editor font size too small. Ctrl + increases the font for the entire interface which is undesirable.
It would be great to have an option in settings near the place where we set the default editor to specify the font-size if the editor is the code editor.
Vim mode for Code Editor doesn't seem to work well on Android (though it works on iOS). It doesn't work properly on my Android phone and tablet, but it works on the tablet if I connect its Samsung hardware keyboard. The issue is basically that whatever I type is just ignored. If I type "i" to enter insert mode or "/" to search, it doesn't do anything and the software keyboard seems to believe I'm entering a word (as it keeps adding to the suggested word at the top). Is this a known issue?
