We're thinking of removing the Vim capabilities from the Code editor on mobile devices due to complexity and issues with it on touch devices without a hardware keyboard. While I understand this may be a disappointment for Vim users, it seems to be the only probable solution to the UX problem with Vim on touch devices. We may consider keeping this functionality under the condition that a hardware keyboard is detected, but that's quite a challenge.

@stefan-yas both of my reported issues above were with Vim mode disabled. Also, is this based on CodeMirror? Because if I go to codemirror.net on my iOS/Android devices the above issues don't happen in the demo.
Regarding Vim mode I would rather that you keep it on mobile so we could still use the parts that work (like search on iOS which works fine - actually not only search, most things work fine on iOS with Vim mode enabled). But I think some issues could be fixed; if search works on iOS I would bet it could be made to work on Android. But again, if you're not interested in fixing things, I would still prefer that you keep it as it is so we could use what works.
Thanks
