My mom was using the website when she thought it was a global map and was drawn away from Canada.
I imagine darkening or cutting out the rest of the world would be useful in preventing confusion or attention being drawn away from the areas of interest.

Should we have a popup explaining what the map is before displaying the map to limit misinformation?

I had my friends run the website on their devices and give me feedback based on their experiences and they all said that it was strange/distracting seeing the Hudson Bay being coloured over in the demo, along with the entire north.

I guess it is an issue of having a single postal code for that region, but maybe fragmenting the region manually or cutting off past a given latitude would not be a bad idea.

Use leaflet with OpenStreetMap or another free open source map API to cut costs

People need to know to zoom into their postal code and that they have the ability to get the granular data

• Where's the data is from
• What does the data mean (ex. what does self-isolation mean)

When a user comes on to the "confirmed" or the "vulnerable", there should be a textbook in the bottom left of the heatmap that describes what that is.

For potential cases: These cases are determined based on the symptoms of citizens' inputs into FLATTEN's forms.

For vulnerable cases: These cases identify regions where there are elderly and immunocompromised individuals.

GeoJSON will allow us to access more features in Leaflet and will help us compress our data which is currently in many different files into one or two clean ones.

Add a if statement only exists. This happened when I didn't accept permissions

-To not make people think there are no cases in other provinces

@surya-krishnan I notice there's some credentials in the github for your script. How private are these? Should they be put in environment variables or something?

The "last updated" text should change depending on whether you're on confirmed cases and potential cases

when a person hits "high risk, or "potential case", they should know that they have to click their postal code to get data, make this clear, large text

I notice that the "Potential cases legend" is displayed on the confirmed cases layer, which can confuse individuals and make them thing that all red specs on city locations indicate its corresponding colour in the legend, which is wrong in this case.

I would suggest either not having a legend on this page or giving a legend of how many cases a certain sized bubble indicates.

An issue with this is that the geocoding library often times out so the script will have to be run till it succeeds. wont be too hard to fix.

MAKE BIG TEXT!!

Kind of gone to right, hopefully the picture is descriptive enough of the issue.

The size needs to be a lot bigger and bold the text to make it as clear and as large as possible without being overbearing.
