we have additional LoD3 building models within the area of the Marktkauf-crossing which should be added to the repo

This is a threat concerning inconsistency within the presented CityGML dataset. The threat will be updated periodically.

Albeit great effort to ensure geometrical and semantical consistency in modeling there could be some deviations present within the model. Thus, here is the list of things to be fixed:

You could investigate if the Github Large File Storage, LFS is a solution for you to host the files under proper version control and replace the links in the readme.

I think it would be awesome to test the compatibility of this dataset with an open source simulator. I have absolutely no idea about the prerequisits here but let's assume I would want to test a function with a bunch of scenarios in Ingolstadt. We have published the ALKS Sceanrios here as an example. In order for people to understand it better we added a few steps guide to run it wich esmini. I left an issue in the esmini repository to get the ball rolling. I think cross-referencing and connecting those projects with each other could be very powerful!

Some models contain textures which are not correctly referenced.
This issue is currently already being addressed.
