Find the dominant colors in any image

If you vectorize the separation of the colour channels like this red, green, blue = (img[:, :, i].ravel() for i in (0, 1, 2))
you'll save a bit of time.
That version is about 100 times faster than the for-loop. Depending on the size of the image that will save you a couple of seconds, which might be nice if you want to run the algorithm on videos. It may also be worthwile to reduce the size of the image before using k-means.
