In the Ardupilot, a modified version of which is being used as the 
development platform for this project, there is a seperate ATTiny 
processor which has a single RC PWM input channel which is used to control 
the multiplexer/failsafe.

This functionality could be incorporated into the ATMega code so that only 
a single processor is required in the final hardware.

The current code depends on a custom version of the wire library.
Either need to find out how to include that in otehr people's arduino 
environment or replace it fully with new code.

Channels 0,1 (the fully hardware supported ones)
At present they don't go off well - left with a very short pulse or left 
high I think.

Off should mean low.
