Many of the companies listed don't have a link/item on the menu on their website for the jobs they are offering. I am wondering if such companies belong to the list
Hey @gdi2290 Can you add the Angular Class company profile please when you have a minute? Thanks
It'd be nice to easily check what the company is all about.
We should have a column that mentions if it's verified remote or not
Can do a PR but wanted to bring it up for discussion first. Think it's worth having a column for tech stack of the company? I know tech stack is sometimes transient but may be helpful for scanning the list (which is only going to grow) if only interested in certain tech.
(Great idea btw 👍)
Yo @nylen you able to grab this and walk me through a how-to for similar?
Cheers!
There are a few companies on that list who are remote, but only within the same timezones as the US, or even within the physical United States. If the intent is to create a US-specific list I guess it doesn't matter much, but the use of "remote" to mean "you can work from SF or NYC!" can be a little confusing if you're international. Noting which are US-only would be an awesome addition, if practical.
Thanks for putting this together!
Would be nice to have a column of tech stack used in the company
WeWorkRemotely is a job board for remote only jobs run by Basecamp.
I noticed that most of the companies that post there were missing from this list.
This issue is to remind myself to add the companies to the list. If this issue has no updates after 24 hours, you can assume I forgot and take over.
It'd be cool to have some kind of short description about what each company is/does.
Maybe instead of trying to stuff so much information in the table, we should link out to an informational page in the repo about the company from the table. It could include details like office locations.
I noticed that the read has been expanded, and there are submission guidelines. I was going to submit a few companies but some of the information I'm not able to locate, what is needed to submit a PR and how much can be added later?
Adding a link to each company's jobs/careers/work with us-type page would be a fantastic addition to the resource.
We can expand the existing JavaScript code in this repository to generate a static HTML site. I think it can be based on a couple of simple templates like site/pages/index.html
and site/pages/company-profile.html
that have a place to insert the content generated from each .md
file.
This site generator should be compatible with Netlify (#422).
Pre-requisite: #420 (heh).
Related: #44.
Would you consider helpful having their HQs?
Currently we have https://remoteintech.github.io/remote-jobs/ and https://remoteintech.company/. After #420, #421, and #422 are done, we should make these two pieces look and feel the same, with unified navigation, theme, etc.
This pull request adheres to the repository's Code of Conduct.
I am an employee of the company mentioned and confirm all included details are correct
This PR contains housekeeping only (URL edits, copy changes etc)
You know your alphabet - company is listed in alphabetical order in the README
The company directly hires employees. No bootcamps / freelance sites / etc
The company added hires remote employees, or positions are available to remote workers and are clearly illustrated as such
A company profile is included - Required for new additions. (This can be a basic outline but at least something please)
Any missing parts from the profile, please use to allow for future completion
Remote status has details regarding how the culture includes remote employees, how the company integrated remote workers, etc
Region details any restrictions to applicants based on geography
How to apply details the best approach for new applications, page on site where open position are listed, and any other help available for job hunters
https://blog.remoteintech.company/ has a favicon; https://remoteintech.company/ does not.
Amazing list but the addition of Glassdoor reviews as a column in the company profiles would be even more amazing!
This may be easier to find/user if it's on a GitHub pages site. I'd pull this out into an org so that it wouldn't be under my username.
Hi,
Adding a new column which will hold the link to the jobs/careers page directly would make easier the use of the listing.
Scalac.io is a company with a focus on bespoke development utilizing the Lightbend stack. Its fully remote and is a great place to be. Pretty sure, it should be on the list
No remote positions listed: https://cartodb.com/jobs/
Pull out contributing guidelines into new page, link to it from the README
The url for Agilebits is incorrect, it is currently listed as
when it should be:
https://www.iopipe.com, distributed team, US based
Being from Australia often has advantages and disadvantages, one question that time again stands out while looking for remote work is "how remote?" — Many U.S companies are not comfortable with someone in a different timezone. It'd be great to add some information like:
Company location(s) | Domestic remote | International remote |
---|---|---|
Melbourne, Kraków | ✅ | ✅ |
I've reserved https://remote-jobs.netlify.com/ (but it's not doing anything until we finish #421).
Let's hook this subdomain up to this repository in Netlify so that it automatically updates with each change here.
@dougaitken - it looks like I need your help with this as the owner of the remoteintech
organization. I will reach out separately and get a good email address to use for this.
Hi,
In the current list there is clearly some companies there are not offering remote jobs.
They should be removed from the list.
I've been seeing reports and personally from family and friends who work there, that IBM is pulling in all remote employees and forcing them to work in regional offices.
Similar to JSON Résumé and json-job.
If the company profiles are in JSON, various lists and apps could be created on top of it client-side similar to http://emoji.muan.co/ - see source: https://github.com/muan/emojilib/blob/master/emojis.json

You can submit this list to the Awesome collection of Awesome lists. The contribution guidelines require at least 2 weeks wait time for the list to mature.
There's also another such list there already - https://github.com/lukasz-madon/awesome-remote-job.
The JavaScript code that does some data validation stuff for this repository should have automated tests. The idea is that it will also serve as the foundation for a static site generator that allows front-end filtering, but it needs to be really solid for all of these different tasks.
Related: #44.
(to the table at https://remoteintech.company/)
This should allow displaying companies that have profiles which are "complete" (not marked with
Adding another column for the type of the jobs offered by the companies. The column will contain values like : IT, Web design, Writing ....
is there a mobile.app planned / does remote-job will be extendet to an android-app?
love to hear from you
In the main readme and in individual company profiles, we use
There are three things we can check automatically here (warning icon in readme, warning icon in profile, and only one section in profile). We should make sure these indicators all match and have the validation script throw up an error if they don't.

It would nice to be able to easily scan and find companies that have jobs that are applicable to your skill sets.
I'm making a suggestion to add remark-lint
to this repo.
It should help ensure a consistent formatting across all your *.md
files as well as helping with broken external links or mistyped internal ones (via remark-lint-no-dead-urls).
We could also run it on every PR through Travis, it's very easy to set that up.
Full list of supported rules here. Let me know if I should open a PR.
This would be a lot easier using linkedin to find a recruiter at the company than digging through career pages.
Remove verified and offices column, add region and profile column.
I'd like a column for remote type - whether it's partial, full, etc.
