Hi,

I was wondering what was the most important ? the board type or the Atmega type ?
I'm looking for a soft running on macOS to flash a Makerbase MKS DLC board which has an ATMEGA328P chip as well.
Would it work using HexUploader and selecting a board with same chip ?

I am using the GUI version of your project and want to flash a arduino nano, but I don't get serial ports listed. Thanks in advance!

I tried it with a nano compatible board (it uses a ch340 usb to serial chip).
I'm not able to upload the .hex file. I keep getting this message

avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout

Is this a known issue? What could be the problem?

Hi,
Has anyone successfully used this with OS 10.10? I'm not getting anything back when I choose the hex file. Nothing appears in the text area, no flashing lights on the arduino indicating transmission is occuring, etc...
I'm trying to upload to a Duemilanove, and tried a number of baud rates but same issue each attempt.

I just wanted to know if HexUploader includes everything it needs from Arduino to run.
looks like it doesnt, it would be nice if we can package everything it needs, this way users can run it without having the Arduino IDE installed.
