NOTE: Despite the enormous interest in this cite (~3000 visitors per month), I will no longer add new papers starting from November 2017. I feel that GANs have come from an exotic topic to the mainstream and an exhaustive list of all GAN papers is no more feasible or useful. However, I invite other people to continue this effort and reuse my list.

Sorting the paper links

It's good that you collected all the links and posted them at one place, but it would've been much better if you mentioned the year that paper was published on the side. As well as it would've been better if you clustered them according to the application (Like this research papers deals with images, etc).
I am working on that, it would be my pleasure if you give me permission to commit it on your repo.

Ideas about describing each GAN

As noted in kozistr/Awesome-GANs#14 and kozistr/Awesome-GANs#18 I would like to request help in regards to collecting GANs. If it is possible I would like to ask for help as to:

  • formalize the meta-structure of GANs outside of specific generators and discriminators (should have)
  • visualize the meta-structures of GANs in a way that is easy to understand (see pic below) (should have)
  • turn the GAN meta-structure into a Python class that can allow for hot-swappable generators and discriminators (could have)
  • update Awesome-GANs with more GAN models and architectures through Python/Tensorflow (could have)
