I noticed that land and seas, this includes mountains and hills that generate every time i pull down the settings menu on the right-side of the simulator. This is quite annoying and should we fixed ASAP. Thanks.
For very fast wind speeds, the arrows in the velocity vector don't show up. The trees affected by these wind speeds also look very weird because they are curved so much.
@niels747 I sent an email over to you about this issue with the rainfall not showing up on my iMac Computer. The screenshot is also included in the email. The droplets (even when turned on) are not showing up like when I use a Windows PC. Also, the command + click option to delete certain features and materials in the simulator is not working either. Besides that, everything else works fine, and the updates are showing up for iMac users.
After starting the simulation, within a given time, starting from a point, the simulation crashes. I experience this with saved and loaded files. This does not happen with a newly started simulation. I'm running the latest Google Chrome. Haven't had this problem for a few weeks.
Video card: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.
After I start the simulation a couple of times and save the simulation, I start it again and the precipitation weakens so much that there is hardly any, and when I go from left to right, regardless of whether the droplet is on, the precipitation disappears, they only have virga.
Is there a way to add to the survey graph so that we can see how the electrical charges are distributed within the storm clouds? As well as the way to measure that electricity in kilovolts per meter with weather stations. Note: please increase the lightning generation rate as it is quite low, especially in small simulations.
The current Precipitation Spawning System has some problems such as inconsistent spawn rates because of bad pseudorandom number generation, or bad / duplicate seeds. This caused droplets to overlap each other perfectly, or not spwan at all sometimes.
Great pseudorandom number generation is the first step to fixing the spawning system.
Ensuring good unique seeds for each droplet at all times is the most difficult task.
Make water temperature change depending on air temperature, evaporation and solar and IR radiation.
Depth of the water should influence the heat capacity.
Idialy water should have flow and convection too, so cold water stays at the water while surface water can heat up. FLow should then also be affected by wind so cold upwelling could be simulated.
I was creating some land but after I stopped holding down my mouse, the land continued to move and expand the direction I was making land.

Good day,
I would like to ask how to turn on this simulator properly, because I'm probably doing it wrong. I thought it was easy to open it by opening index.html, but when I open it and put "Create new simulation", it lags to 9%. Please help!
Was working on simulating a volcano when I discovered this. I do think it would be a neat feature to be able to create caves or overhangs without setting the world on fire. Because if you remove the fire (or once the fire burns out) the land will just fall down again.
Dust: it would be cool if niels will add sand and if wind will blow over it than dust will create. So we can make duststorms!
Biomes: Different biomes would be cool too! Like savanna desert and other.
Addition To Biomes Idea: Maybe biomes can eventually occur in map. Like in dry warm places deserts, and in humid warm rainforests
I have a new problem, it happened to me a while ago and I have not been able to find a solution, it loads normally up to 80%, there it gets stuck, it should be noted that the web version loads normally, But the local version does not work. PS: I'm on Linux and using Xampp as a localhost server.

So i got into thinking that it would be a good idea to have it where not only the time is displayed but it cycles through all 365 days of the year and the sun angle changes height based on the latitude and time of year. It would be more helpful then using a slider to pick the time of year you want. For an example move the slider displays 6.5 = June 15th but to make this cycle through just like the time.
I faced this simulation blackout issue recently and it happens after several minutes of playing. It started happening after a previous update and I'm not sure exactly when it started happening.
This happens when i create a new sin on the school computer.
idk what the black thing is bug it keeps moving left and covers up all the land
I believe this is a separate bug from the other issue i created a while ago.
