rl3linkfish's Issues

Why did you use Monte Calro estimate for calculating advantages ?

Hi.
I want to give you some questions ,

  1. Why did you use Monte Carlo estimate instead of GAE used in most ppo examples ?

  2. And I'm confusing when I read your paper that "Learning to swim in potential flow" published in Physical Review Fluid 2021
In your paper, you wrote that bootstrapping is used for all task as value estimate, but actually monte carlo estimate is used in your code.
    which method is correct ??

Thank you.
