I just Restart Update
my vscode and here's my vscode About
but the error still persist, Intellisense still not show
from typescript.
I am also having the same issue. This started after my recent upgrade to 15.36.46 on macos. I have tried all the fixes I am aware of, restart VS Code, Shut down your PC and start over again but nothing has improved the situation. Is there something I am missing?

What if you trigger IntelliSense outside of an import?
from typescript.
If I change Language mode
to javascript
, it seems the intellisense works.
but when I change it to Javascript JSX
, the intellisense is not working
and Intellisense outside import working as below (while keep using javascriptreact
as Language Mode
)
from typescript.
This all looks like it's working. What are you expecting to see where, and why?

I'm expecting when I typing import { } from "react[caret here]";
vscode should suggest me with react
, react-native
and all react
prefix installed at package.json
, but now there's no suggestion appear.
before the update, the Intellisense is working well, when I typing React.uses
vscode would suggest me React.useState
. But now even when I type React.
all React component is not appear.

You're in an unsaved buffer. Does this work once the file is saved to a concrete location on disk?
from typescript.
it doesn't work when I edited saved file.
also it's should work with temporary
file created by vscode, I've tried many times before.
from typescript.
We need a full repo that demonstrates this behavior

@RyanCavanaugh I don't know what do you mean about it, does the Intellisense works for you? what info should i provide?
Now I've check the import working as expected, @mjbvz does the title need to be adjusted?
but list components inside react-native
not show.
something seems not right, when I cmd+click
the react-native
import, vscode opening index.js
on path <my_project>/node_modules/react-native/index.js
, if I remember correctly, it should pointing to vscode cache folder with .tsx
extension.
from typescript.
how do I download lower version of vscode and disable auto update? I can't work properly since the Intellisense stop running.
from typescript.
Same problem. Started this week. No Intellisense for anything that is not on the file I have open. I'm on an Ubuntu.

Also, I can confirm the same behavior: if I select the language as javascript, it starts to work again. I'm with TypeScript 5.4.4.

Please create a new issue with a sample repo we can reproduce the behavior on.
