generate-launching-images

A tool to generate runcommand launching images based on emulationstation themes (for use on RetroPie).

This tool was made to be used with RetroPie.

To install it you just have to launch RetroPie Setup script and then "Manage Packages" >> "Manage experimental packages" >> "launchingimages" >> "Install from binary"

After the installation, the option "launchingimages" will be available at RetroPie-Setup >> "Configuration / tools" >> "launchingimages". Just follow the instructions on screen. ;-)

Cannot generate launch images

Hello, I have tried a new installation of retropi version 4.8 and I immediately installed the launch images, but it won't generate images, it keeps saying that there is no theme.xml file available and it cannot generate the images. I then installed a different theme and tried it on that, and it said the same.

I browsed the winSCP to the folder and found that there is in fact the theme.xml file there.

Please could you assist? I think that maybe being a new pi version there is some conflict somewhere? I am using a 3B+ pi 128 GB SD Card.

i have been able to install the program but this comes up. and right now the only theme i got it to work with was nes-mini.

Does not work for all themes

Is this supposed to work for all themes? If so I get errors when trying to create images for Hurstyblue and ARCADE system. Am I doing something wrong?
