When working in wide screen with the dock in the bottom, the default notification area is on the top right now and new notifications are very likely missing since it was out of sight. The right bottom area is prefferd in this case but the area setting was hard coded and there is no way to change this.
Any time I toggle shutdown botton, it only shows a white background. I doult that this commit is not working.
dde-session-ui version: 4.1.7

Hello.
I noticed this bug on both Archlinux and Manjaro with Deepin desktop environment installed.
When I upgraded to Deepin-session-ui-4.4.4 (or later ?), both login and logout screens are unreadable. Downgrading to 4.4.3 fixes this issue.
Here is a screenshot of login screen with displaying bug:

@felixonmars do you kindly have an advice for me? Apparently it was possible to build it for Archlinux - so I am confused why it should not work here... Is maybe a new dependency needed?
After I unlock session, the keyboard layout is changed to wrong model.
The correct setting for my keyboard is set by:
setxkbmap -model thinkpad -layout br
From journalctl after unlocking screen I get the following:

normaly i'm use upgrade system in terminal with apt dist-upgrade
Today i'm test deepin upgrade system and i don't understand why after upgrade packages system is rebooted without ask me about this
This is danger, maybe after click in upgrade system, user working and don't save all works and system just reboot without any confirmation
I think don't need open black full screen during upgrading, maybe one pop up over all windows alerting about upgrading and block dde-shutdown to not work during upgrading
But more important, never reboot system without confirmation
Hello,
On dde-lock :
When we type lot of characters in the password bar (More than 5 giga characters) and when we press "Enter" after, dde-lock crash which have for consequence to unlock the laptop.

Hi guys,
I'm customizing my mate desktop and I'm using some deepin elements. I have a question: Can I use dde-session-ui
with mate desktop? How can I replace this screens without install full deepin desktop (I need Mate for other reasons)?
Thank you and sorry about my english
Is this really neccessary?
Using arch linux here. It is since the update today.
After reboot, when nobody is logged in with lightdm-deepin-greater it constantly doing something and consuming 6-10% of one core.
How to see:
Connect to the machine with SSH or login to the system using text interface (pressing Ctrl-Alt-F2)
run htop and check cpu resources for lightdm-deepin-greater
I haven't problem when i begins my session; but after suspend and re-enter in my session, i have to begin session in the Antergos
lightdm-greeter
, normal behaviour, and after it again begin session in deepin
desktop.
But is a fake, his lightdm-greeter
is overlapped with the desktop, because the password field doesn't works fine, i text many things but anything happen, or i believed it; i click in the suspension button and after cancel it and i can now put my password in the greeter; after enter in the desktop i can see that all things that i text was in gedit, in the program that i was working before to suspend the session.
Which is the error?
UPDATE:
I could prove that this problem also happen with deepin
greeter: i change the Antergos
default greeter by deepin
greeter; today after re-init the session, susspended before, i had to begin session in the greeter, as if i am beginning session, and after again in the screensaver
greeter ( that have my custom wallpaper, ironically).
Why happen this??
When both Password required to wake up the monitor
and Password required to wake up the computer
are checked, the lock screen is called twice.
Please add an username text field to the deepin greeter in order to allow manual login for example in the case of Active Directory authentication.
Thanks
Hi, i'm using deepin-desktop
in Antergos
.
After the latest update i got this error:
Both explorer managers had permission problems:
First i opened deepin-explorer
and i got that i couldn't copy, cut or paste any file in the other partitions(two ntfs
partitions) and in the same SO
partition, only could move, copy, paste and modify files inside the personal folder(home
); i opened then nautilus
and i got the same error but in these case at least i could modify folder and files in the same SO
partition.
So, i proceeded to downgrade this package and i could get the same behavior before(i'm not sure if is about problem with unproperly windows
shutdown, but it work); after this i proceeded to update again this package and finally i stayed with the problem from image: i can move and modify folders and files in the other partitions, but in the same SO
parition i couldn't do it in deepin-explorer
, but in nautilus i can.
Why happen this?

HOW TO REPRODUCE:
From time to time auto-login fails. They you are presented with the greeter screen.
There the user has a button to start the session. That button also doesn't work.
SYSTEM SPECS:
The new version of the greeter screen misses the cool star animation.
Would it be possible to re-integrate that?
For Manjaro-Deepin I would like to customize the logo on the greeter screen.
Since the greeter has been built into deepin-session-ui I have not been able to find the source of the that logo to replace.
I have tried this with no success. Also replacing the logo here was not effective.
Could you kindly point me to the right place in the source?
Thank you :)

reproduce actions: click right on desktop, click corner navigation, in both the upper left and lower left select None. Move to one of the corners;
Expected: no desktop or application panels should appear.
In stead: desktop and application panel still appear
After trying to switch it off again, it appears that None is already selected.
Hello,
I am on a large screen. My resolution is set to 3840x2160.
My scale factor is set to 3 to make texts more readable.
Unfortunately, this setting breaks the login screen. The login password text box then becomes so big it's clipped.
To work around the issue, I have set: ScreenScaleFactor=2.5
In:
/etc/lightdm/lightdm-deepin-greeter.conf
But every time the software updates, the setting is reset.
Is there a way to override this setting more permanently?
Hi, everyone
I'm using manjaro deepin with lightdm. After updating deepin-session-ui to 4.5.1.10 recently causes login screen black, but I can input password blindly and enter into desktop successfully(desktop is normal).
If downgrading deepin-session-ui to 4.5.1.4 will solve the problem.
Can anyone know how to fix this? or what logs and configurations I can paste here for help?
When I install other desktops, for example Cinnamon, Deepin Greeter is not respected and lightdm always marks Deepin Desktop as the default login.
If I trade for another Greeter everything works correctly.
deepin-lightdm-greeter, or dde-session-ui, should not hard code any background path. Instead, it should query gsettings com.deepin.dde.appearance background-uris for default background image.
Please make onboard parameter configurable.
After the final update i can't see the grub background image in settings panel.
But the current deepin backgroud image is visible in the grub.
Why happen this?

I am running Arch with latest kernel. All packages are up to date and have even tried reinstalling all the deepin packages, to no avail.
What do you need from me to diagnose this issue?
FZUG members try to build a LiveISO for Fedora 30 with DDE. But it has high probability that the LiveISO boot into a white screen at deepin-lightdm-greeter.
If type some text and push enter, the white screen is get over and user can login.
There is minor chance that the issue did not appear. So it seem a race condition during LiveOS booting.
I uploaded the iso to baidu pan:
https://pan.baidu.com/s/1F7LKfptwc_zZteMHVGLXcw
code: 2xzv
Every deepin package has updated to latest version except file-manager.
When using Skype screen share or screen recording, the screen will flicker like in the video below.

I know there is other issue related about but i could not find it.
I was testing Deepin in Manjaro Deepin 17.2; i changed the GRUB image but it didn't work.
Why? Why GRUB configurator does not work in ArchLinux yet?
Before a recent update it was possible to switch DE and next time you start your computer it would remember the last session you switched to. Now it always defaults to deepin.
每次更新新版本,重启都卡在logo处,具体为:重启关闭电脑时,达到的logo处没有任何提示。一致卡在这里,求助。(Each time I updated my system and restart, the PC would stuck at logo, I want to why, how to solve this problem?)
网上其他用户也遇到了类似情况(Other people have encountered this situation):
Today I got a bunch of deepin package updates, seems almost all of the deepin applications got updates. After installing I rebooted, but something weird happened.
The Welcome sound run out but the mouse loop continues a long time, maybe 3 minutes.
Here's the log
Jul 21 16:01:18 arch dbus-daemon[2282]: [session uid=1000 pid=2282] Failed to activate service 'com.deepin.dde.Welcome': timed out (service_start_timeout=120000ms)

Deepin lockscreen allows users to view content and move windows etc for a few seconds after resuming from suspend.
It happens especially with two monitors connected. I'm using newest Deepin.
Since today i have the problem that the lightdm-deepin-greeter is no more working for me.
The only things that have changed since then are these two updates:
[2016-12-09 10:29] [ALPM] upgraded deepin-desktop-schemas (3.0.11-1 -> 3.0.12-1)
[2016-12-09 15:45] [ALPM] upgraded deepin-go-lib (0.5.1-2 -> 0.5.2-1)
jounralctl boot output:
lightdm-deepin-greeter[786]: can not find any monitor retray in 15 second...
as a workaround i am using the lighitdm-gtk-greeter for the moment. After a successful startup and login i can start the lightdm-deepin-greeter manually and it works.
Please tell me if i can provide more information (if so where i should look at...)
Setup information:

@kirigayakazushin, could you kindly have a look at the issue in developer-center ?
The background of the shutdown dialog is unblurred since the update to deepin-session-ui 3.0.10
on Manjaro/Archlinux.
Possibly same issue as with dde-launcher
When the computer starts and I enter on lightdm to enter the password I can switch from deepin to any other DE like i3. But when I logout from deepin the button isn't there. but if I blindly spam the place where it usually is I can enter in the select Desktop Environment menu.
Hi,
I'm running Manjaro with latest updates (DISTRIB_RELEASE=18.0.0-r)
I have problem with the lightdm-deepin-greeter where it doesn't allow me to change the user if I have multiple users, I can click the switch user icon at the lower right corner but I can't select another user!
Steps to reproduce:
1- add a new user, for me I used this command:
useradd -G users,wheel,video,audio,network,power,wireshark,sys,lp,storage -m -s /bin/zsh -U newuser
2- restart the lightdm service:
systemctl restart lightdm
3-click on the lower right corner icon (switch user icon), two users will appear and you can use the mouse or keyboard to select one of them, but the choice is not saved, as soon as you choose a user you will get back to the password screen and you will find that lightdm chose a different user for you
Regards
On login screen the input field is hidden,
on shutdown/restart/... screen all the buttons are hidden.
The hidden widgets can be used if you know, where to click blindly, but it is a real bad feature.
Using Arch.
The Mouse works fine on login screen, but after the logon when dde-wm-chooser is open its not works anymore, so the user stays stuck on the screen. Maybe if the keyboard has enabled to choose these options it could be a good idea.
I'm running deepin on arch
since recently lightdm-deepin-greeter leads to a blackscreen
when I change the lightdm greeter in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf to another greeter (gtk for example) everything works.
When the system is booted and I run "lightdm-deepin-greeter" the greeter shows, the desktop file is also there in /usr/share/xgreeters
the blackscreen cannot be escaped by win+alt+f2 or any other f-key, if you tell me how I can collect further logs after a reboot, that would be very helpful
this seems somewhat similar to #8 so I am optimisitic that a future update will fix everything
When using dde-lock to lock the screen you can hook up an external monitor and the lock screen will not resize. This allows you to use the existing session of the user and open terminals, etc. This renders the lock screen ineffective.
Tested with Thinkpad t440s running AntergOS (Arch).
Internal monitor of 1600x1200, external monitor 1920x1080.
I've made a video to explain the issue:
https://rubenvanderham.nl/data/deepin-issue.mp4
Basically, Sometimes when locking the screen, one can select the "other users" button. Then select your own user and you will be logged in without a password prompt.
