npm 5 introduces a lockfile as package-lock.json.

Have you thought about including standard .js files with the .coffee files icon?

This happens when the folder ends with a supported extension.
For example jquery.rut.js

Pug is replacing jade from version 2 and pug files have the .pug file extension.

Seeing as jade's icon currently is <>, it would be nice for consistency to have the same icon for pug.

It seems like the new js icon is throwing alignment a bit off in the menu bar. See attached screenshots with package enabled/disabled

Also, my .2c about the updated js icon is that the text-only nature makes it somewhat ambiguous. perhaps use the one that nodejs provides (octagon js)?

May I suggest the following rule be added to file-type-icons.less:

[data-name^='.']:before {
   .configuration-icon;
}

It captures a lot of those more obscure config-type files (.nvmrc, .remarkrc, etc.)

for cucumber file add icon on .feature extension file

The file-type icon for symlinks are now overridden with the file name's extension. I symlink file instead of copying them, and sublime used to indicate this with a specific icon.

This might be an issue with the latest version of nuclide that is causing this:

Currently a .groovy file doesn't have any icon. The language logo is basically a star (http://groovy-lang.org/index.html), or the same icon as Java could be used.

As per #4, the JavaScript icon is a little hard to see in tabs ... perhaps removing the bold effect will help it and other similar icons in the tabs.

I use One Light theme in Compact mode and i notice that icons and labels are misaligned

When enabling file-type-icons with Atom Material UI it causes all the icons in the tree view to be misaligned.

Maybe this is related to #33 but since the misalignment occurs with git and non-git directories alike, it’s most likely not related to #27.

For Twig files I get the text icon (https://octicons.github.com/icon/file-text) instead of the template icon (https://octicons.github.com/icon/gist/). Is that by design?

A pretty nice feature would be making sidebar/tab icons optional, so for instance if I wanted to remove the icons for tabs I could just toggle a switch from settings. Same would apply for sidebars/other possible locations.
