Basically the title says it all. Because of this the search bar also lands on 2 colors, making it ugly. I'll provide some screenshots to illustrate what I mean.

Hi. I've read about this trashbin feature but I can't seem to find it anywhere...Is the extension currently broken or am I just blind and can't see it?

When i click backup, it says its backing up but it does not in the end, and i have restarted rainmeter multiple time and it does not work.

Upgraded to Spicetify 1.6.6 and it's working almost completely flawlessly, although I have one problem: the friend feed has no style, like this:

If it helps, I'm on Windows 10 and my Documents folder is in a OneDrive folder

The opacity on hover is working great, But is there a way you can make it click through the album art rather than go to the song.

Next, I think you got confused when I asked about the left sidebar. The width of the sidebar I have changed already because I wanted it wider. the problem was is when using the small cover big cover mechanism. When the picture is locked (it shows the picture when the sidebar hover is activated) with the sidebar, it is the wrong size. The picture is the one I wanted to resize, not the sidebar.

When viewing the sidebar, the bottom most item of the sidebar is not view-able whilst playing a music. It is obstructed by the current playing song's album. Tough, the bottom-most item is still clickable when clicking from the side.

I'm trying to use the rainmeter-WebNowPlaying-plugin with spicetify and had an issue getting proper duration- and positions. It worked with the browser-extension but not with spicetify. Since other information was transmitted just fine, it wasn't a connection issue. Turns out, that the rainmeter-plugin looks for the InfoTypes "position" and "duration" and expects those to be in the format MM:SS.
But the wnpPlugin-script in spicetify transmits this information under the field-names "positionString" and "durationString" (which aren't evaluated at all). It worked, after I tentatively added the lines

musicInfo.position = musicInfo.positionString;
musicInfo.duration = musicInfo.durationString;

into the setup-method, thus using the same lambdas to fill both values. But honestly it looks to me as if the *String-versions of those fields might not be needed at all, since the plugin doesn't process them.

After that, it nearly worked. Unfortunately, the convertTimeToString doesn't truncate the timeInSeconds-parameter. The rainmeter-plugin insists of it being an integer, and if the string is transmitted something like "3:26.6666667", it can't be handled.

On the whole I'm not really a fan of transmitting durations as formatted Strings with time-units, milliseconds as integers would be much less error-prone. But in this case it seems to be the rainmeter-plugin defining the format, so Spicetify should probably just send what's expected.

As the title says. After I apply the skin Spotify restarts on a black screen.

After adding the CSS in issue #14 this still occurs when there is an "Artist's Pick" next to the latest release.

Is there currently a work around to use Spicetify on macOS, or could support be added in the future? Right now I'm just a normal Windows PC user and this works great for me, but I have plans to get a Macbook in the near future, and I was wondering if I would be left without this nice addition to my Spotify app there on Mac. Not major concern obviously, just wondering.

I know this version isn't supported, but I updated to see what would still work. In 1.0.80.474 Christian mode shows up in the profile selector but DJ Mode doesn't. They must have changed part of their code. Just thought I'd let you know. I've downgraded back to 1.0.77.338 for the meantime. If you don't have the update in your region I can help debug.

Just a request if its possible to restore the username/Facebook name and profile picture of your account back in the top bar next to the menu arrow.

Hi my spotify client has updated to new version but skin cannot backup skin.. i tried reinstall rainmeter skin + rainmeter and i reinstalled spotify client 2 times with removing in %appdata% files .. but not working anymore ,, in log rainmeter says Error 103: Cannot start program: "C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe" /U /C (Spicetify\Spicetify.ini - [Duplicate]) .. but i tried open rainmeter as admin but not working .. thanks for help have a nice day

Hello, I have a problem. I really enjoy using Spicetify, but there is a very annoying bug where the slider (music slider) disappears after reopening Spotify. If I reapply, it still does not appear, and the slider is invisible. The only way to get it back is to revert Spotify back to normal, then reapplying. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you.

I can't get lyrics working: when I click the buton there's just the animated background but no text, so I turned lyrics off and on again and again there's just animated background but now it says something like "Unfortunately there's no text for this song". But this text appears at every song :/

related and enabled settings: Enable Lyrics, Lyrics button always show and I tried one time w/ Force no sync lyrics

Is there any way to return the elapsed and remaining text whilst keeping the progress bar spanning across the bottom of the window? I'm not sure why but moving the text closer to the center of the client in the css shortens the progress bar.

This may sound dumb, but I have no idea how to hide the settings menu after picking all my options, there is no hide, exit or shutdown button, the only way to get rid of it that I've found now is setting its transparency to 100% and turning on the option to click through it

I got Spicetify when it was at 1.1 or 1.2, and i recently tried updating to 1.5 (and 1.6 as well) but found that it wouldn't work. There would be no errors on the app itself however recently when I try it stays stuck on 'Injecting a websocket and jquery 3.3.1'. My spotify stays blank, even if I uncheck all boxes. The menu in the top-left only displays File, Edit and View.

Restoring to backup makes my Spotify work again but without the Spicetify themes and I have tried deleting and re-installing both Spotify and Spicetify and installing Spotify from the @Resources page. Unchecking the 'Disable Sentry' and 'Disable UI logger' options didn't work either. Reverting back to my previous version works fine.

Hello. A few weeks ago I had a problem where Spotify would not remember what song I was last playing. I thought it was fixed, but it really wasn't, but I felt bad about bothering you again. Spotify only remembers what song was last played if I exited out of the app a few seconds after starting a new song. Hour-long sessions would not be remembered whatsoever if you look in the history. I have done many backups and restores. Are there any fixes?

Just installed for the first time, i got the default theme working just fine but when I try to create a new theme and change the colours, it won't let me change them. Clicking the colors does nothing and the same problem happens with buttons like Edit CSS. What could cause this?

First of all, I just wanted to say that I absolutely love Spicetify! I've been looking for something like this for some time. I love the minimize feature for the left sidebar and thought it would be really cool if this feature was also implemented for the right sidebar.

Not sure if this is the Queue All extended functionality, but the Queue All button queues the 'More by Artist' songs instead of the album. Is it supposed to be up next to the play/save buttons and queue the album instead? In this case, the Queue All button adds the 'More by The Weeknd' songs.

Problem solved

I've updated to Spicetify 1.6.3 which fixed the problems on my laptop (yay!), however Developer mode doesn't actually do anything, When I click it it stays unticked and doesn't get enabled.

Spotify new UI doesn't work with Spicetify anymore

When moving Spotify to my 2nd monitor, a part of the client becomes discolored when skimming through different sections of the player.

Moving back to my main display doesn't replicate the issue whatsoever.

When clicking the up arrow button on the now playing album picture in the bottom, a small picture of the current playing album appears. The small picture becomes bigger when the sidebar is opened.

NVM, I didn't see the right click menu

This issue is kind of hard to explain so bear with me. Before I installed this, whenever I'd close Spotify and open it again, it would be ready to play the song that I was playing before I closed it. Now, for some reason, it doesn't remember what song I was playing. I would be listening for a whole hour, close the app, and when I would open it again, it does not remember any of the songs I just played. Sorry, this issue is hard to explain, but do you have a fix? I do have premium, but before I had premium, I did not get any ads. Does this have something to do with it? Thank you.

Downloaded zip of this repo, inzipped and dropped into \My Documents\Rainmeter\Skins folder.

Two issues that I have are:

1. Whenever I try to apply theme it gets stuck on "Leaking useful functions and objects"
2. WebPlayingNow of monstercat visualizer doesn't interact with WebPlayingNow of Spotify, yet works perfectly fine with Chrome's (for Youtube)

As far as I can see, there's no way to change the font color in the interface. This is what my spotify looks like as a result. What do I do?

Also, I think it could be helpful if you could upload a zip folder of the .spa files you use in your config in the screenshot.

The top-right buttons don't change colors, have I missed changing a setting or something?

Everything was working fine in the previous version but in this version it refuses to change. This is with my custom colour scheme and the default. From a quick look in the inspect element it looks like the names of some of the CSS elements have changed meaning not all colours applied. This is probably why the custom css is working but not the colours.

I also found I had to disable custom colour's before the custom css worked. Maybe that's related?

I want to use DJ mode on my spotify but I can't found a option on my Spotify. All Extensions are enabled

Add the current and remaining time of the song

1. The Lyrics Animation looks so good but the lyrics itself not working...
   For example it writes "You caught us, we're still working on that one..."
   I couldn't find a song with working lyrics
   Is there a way to fix it?
   how can I make it work?

2. Can you please change the X icon and the 3 dots icon to higher DPI icons?
   After the latest UI update of Spotify these two icons are looking awful.

3. Is there a place where I can find extensions?
   Because I realy need an extension that will make spotify
   ask me twice before deleting a song from my library
   if I ever click by mistake on the V icon of the song.

Hi, love this app!

I was wondering if it would be possible to make an extension so that whenever someone presses play on a song it adds it to the queue instead of playing it? This would allow people to set up their Spotify for use as a DJ or at a party!

This will make it much easier than having to use a third-party site or program like Festify as they can limit Spotify's ability (using Musixmatch and Spotify Connect).

Even when I use SpotifySetup.exe, the installer immediately installs the Windows Store version. Is there a workaround? I have taken ownership of the UWP spotify folder. Can I specify a path?

I don't know if this is a bug, but the playlist fetching didn't actually begin for me until I clicked on any of the header buttons a few times. On load, the lists were just blank. The "nothing to display" image wasn't even showing until I clicked around a couple times. Eventually, they all loaded fine.

Was there an issue that made you get rid of the borderless exe?

Playlists work's great, and appear howit should be, but if you click in a artist/album everything goes crzy

It's me again...I've run into another problem.
I've created a blank json on JsonBin and I've put the access URL in the Trashbin.js but it doesn't seem to work...when I restart the Spotify all the songs that I've put into the trash are playable again.

Something suspicious that I've noticed is that in your example for access URL (//api.jsonbin.io/b/5aXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX23e4) ends with "23e4" but my URL does not...

I've tried creating private as well as public bin but it doesn't work either way.
