cannot restore default system setting after uninstall the tweak. I can feeling it is still working when slide brightness toggle.
unintsalled tweak, (Set system Display & Text Size, Reduce White Point to off, Auto-Brightness to off.)
when I slide to lowest point, "Reduce White Point" auto turn on.
when I unlock screen, "Auto-Brightness" auto turn on.
My eyes are very uncomfortable. It has been more than two months and I am troubled by this problem.
Please help me fix it.
Hey jschiefner, I do appreciate your great tweak of adjusting brightness.
You may notice that for the OLED devices, some ppl may suffer eye strain or headache caused by PWM flickering, especially under 30% of brightness(iPhone's PWM flickering strategy).
So I come up with an idea, if possible, to make a setting like:
"When the brightness slider goes below a certain threshold, the brightness goes to a 'preset value of brightness' in the setting rather than zero, and the Reduce White Point setting is activated but not adjust brightness value till trigger it over the preset value again."
When the preset value is set to 30 or higher, It could make the PWM flickering strategy unchanged to be more comfy to use in the dark, but it's up to users to decide the value.
Let me know if you're interested in the idea I come up with. Thanks for your effort!
Not working on iPhone XS Max iOS 14.3.
tweaks do nothing please fix this, because this is very good tweak I love the concept. Thanks you for putting effort to create this tweak.
Hello, when I use AdvancedBrightnessSlider 1.1.0, it will display arm64, I can only downgrade to 1.0.0, it does not seem to be suitable for iOS 13, I hope you can check it when you see it
When I adjust the brightness while tweak enabled, the CPU usage explodes very high. I especially notice while in another app. The slider movement is a bit jerky and my batt rate display indicates massive battery drain as I move the brightness slider up and down. I tested repeatedly with this tweak enabled and disabled and concluded the issue must be caused by this tweak.
(as said above, this should be low priority due to both palera1n for iPadOS 17 not being publicly available for end users at this time, but also that the pool of supported devices is extremely small)
Attempting to use AdvancedBrightnessSlider on iPadOS 17 ends up having two issues:
The tweak itself doesn’t work
Attempting to respring from the button in app seemingly causes the device to panic - panic log here
I’m reaching out because - even though the pool of supported devices is small - the goal ideally should be to have as many tweaks supported on iPadOS 17 as possible (especially since this may be the final hurrah of sorts for checkm8 on iOS/iPadOS)
Hi ! Thanks for your great tweak ! Totally love it!
One weird behavior that I noticed is when a tweak or process using "sbreload" as a respring command, the brightness of device after that respring would be very very lower than the status before the respring.
It'll decrease itself dynamically and automatically after the respirng and unlocking device.
iPhone X on iOS 13.3.1 gets sent to safe mode with latest version on Havoc repo, but installed previous version from github and there's no safe mode. Cannot see any springboard logs so nothing to send through.
Hi! In the past, many tweaks have been updated for rootless and one of these tweaks was Cephei Tweak Support. If I can recall, Cephei was one of the dependencies that needed to be updated for rootless in order for AdvancedBrightnessSlider to also support rootless. Now that Cephei has been updated for rootless, will this tweak be updated for rootless?
