Question about Maple Mini wiring.

HI,
Which wiring is correct, Image 1 or Image 2 if you use the Maple USB as a power supply. If you use an external power supply it will be Image 1, Image 2 is for USB power, is that correct? Thanks for answering.

Mini CW Key Automatic Morse (Paddle)

Hello,

This is a great project? I was wondering if there is a way to connect or make modification to add external Paddle for training purposes?
