Hello, I wrote a tool that can validate README links (valid URLs, not duplicate). It can be run when someone submits a pull request.

I've started using quicktype to generate strongly-typed code in Go, C++, Objective-C, Java, TypeScript, Swift, Elm, and C# for reading and writing the JSON data from these APIs. I'll submit a PR to your main README with a link once the project matures a bit.

I was looking for a quick json file to use in a codepen. It wasn't clear which of these were rather large (50MB+) and which were small enough to use for a small example (< 1 MB). It would be helpful to have a couple datasets that are small so as to facilitate prototyping.

I came across your jdorfman/awesome-json-datasets repository and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed by the amount of work you have put in to gather these datasets for the community.

However, I noticed that it can be difficult to navigate through them. A website with a user-friendly web interface that showcases all of these datasets would be a great benefit to the community.

I would love to contribute by creating such a platform, similar to https://omkar.cloud/ (for free of course).
If you are interested, we can work together to make it easier for thousands of people to access the valuable datasets you have collected.

One thing I'm doing for #185 is specifying these datasets as a JSON dataset. It would be a good idea to make this awesome list of JSON datasets an awesome JSON dataset itself, rather than just a Markdown list.

A normalized JSON dataset with metadata and endpoints for all of the listed datasets would be even more awesome and so meta! 😆

The Historical Events links to https://vizgr.com are not working. And the Open Movie Database links require API keys now.

It looks like their API now requires a signup.
