bubblified's Issues

Newline broken when command has error

Whenever I run a command which errors out then my prompt cursor gets put at the start of the newline which overwrites the arrow. See photo:

I also have similar issues when using ZSH's autocomplete feature

Info:

  • Terminal: kitty

Bubble sides looking smaller than the center

image

Hello, I installed zsh for the first time recently and after seeing your theme on reddit I tried to give it a whirl, but no matter what I tried I couldn't get the sides of the bubbles right. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Background colors not properly being used

First, thanks for this theme, absolutely love it.

I occasionally notice some weird things like this -
image

The background color does not seem to be set where it should be (you can see the "border" bits of each bubbled area, but the actual background is not the same color). I use the Nord color scheme, but have noticed the same issue with Solarized Dark and One Dark.

Also, unrelated, what color scheme do you use in the demo video in the readme? Looks fantastic.

Which terminal emulators are compatible and why

I've been using kitty but wanted to try alacritty. Someway alacritty can't render the bubbles, at least by default. I've been wondering what feature does a terminal emulator need to have to be able to render that and why.

Can I use antigen for installation?

Can I use antigen (https://github.com/zsh-users/antigen) to apply this theme, so that users simply apply like antigen theme hohmannr/bubblified? I think then more people can enjoy this awesome theme. Please consider this.

For example, currently I'm using spaceship-prompt (denysdovhan/spaceship-prompt) using antigen.

Font displaying weird

Hey, looks great, but on my end, I'm seeing the tiny question marks in squares where the bubbles would be. Is there a font that should be installed on my end to mimic the way it should be looking? Thanks!
