greater-flavor-mod's Introduction

Greater Flavor Mod (GFM)

This mod is based on HFM but greatly expands on it, adding bountiful flavor, provinces, historical accuracy changes, quality of life improvements and more.

IMPORTANT: If you downloaded from Github and for some reason the mod is broken, either:

  • Check if you installed correctly.
  • Redownload from Github maximum 1 day later. The mod gets constantly updated, sometimes several times in MINUTES or HOURS. If the mod breaks because of the developers, it gets fixed as quickly as possible, so first check if you installed correctly and if so, wait some hours or minutes and re-download, a fix should've probably been uploaded by then.

Failure to extract the mod may be due to a common GitHub issue, so try downloading again in the case of failure or try downloading from the Mod DB page.

Submods

  • GFM is standalone - you do not need the original HFM to play.
  • GFM Shattered World releases every single nation and adds a bunch more along with all the fantasy formables.
  • GFM Performance Increase changes files to a lower resolution, thus reducing lag.
  • GFM More Cultures adds a lot more cultures to the game.
  • GFM Fantasy Formables is a submod that adds several unrealistic formable countries.
  • GFM Fluff Decisions adds inconsequential flavor decisions
  • GFM No Swastikas removes every swastika in the game.
  • GFM Belle Dark is a map submod that applies the Belle Dark map mod to GFM.
  • GFM 1830 Startdate is a submod that allows people to start the game in 1830 and has content for the added years.
  • GFM Terrain Pictures Submod adds over a thousand unique terrain pictures to GFM.
  • Music Sub Mod adds more music to the game. This is located in a separate repository which can be found here
  • Absolute gigachad Jay de Brabant has made a submod for GFM adding anime girl flags (the repo also includes regular HFM flags).

greater-flavor-mod's Issues

Lima von Sanders Decision

Hi, I was playing as the German Confederation, and in 1910 that decission appeared, but I don´t seem to have at least 100 divisions. What is a division exactly, individual armies, or each unit? Cuz I have like 33 individul armies, each one with 15 units or so, so I don´t get what does a Division stand for exactly. Thanks in advance!

Issue with alternate Mexican-American War.

If you do not take the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo and instead choose an alternative option (Other than all of Mexico) there is never an event for Mexico to lose cores on the west, this means that assimilation events will fire, and depending on the option, you are forced to either destroy immigration rates, or take 2 infamy FOR EVERY SINGLE PROVINCE. (Also a decision to eventually core all the territory like in the all of Mexico scenario would be cool.)

Mexican Rebellion

The event for Mexico to rebel from the USA during the civil war if they choose to annex all of Mexico is not firing.

Edit: Most of the "GSGMurrika" events are broken and will not fire.

Greater Amazonas

When Amazonas takes the decision to claim the whole of the Amazon, Santarem is not given as a core despite being in the middle of the Amazon entirely surrounded by cores.

New general issues by peoge (v2)

Tested as the Sikh Empire (PNJ) and FRCA (UCA).

BUGS:

  1. Chile (CHL) gets random bits of Argentina (ARG), primarily Mendoza (#2389) and Carmen (#2355), seemingly related to the Patagonia event chain.
  2. Brazil (BRZ) gets Pematang Siantar (#3295) consistently, I have not noticed how or the timing.
  3. Spain gets Pau (#460) in case France (FRA) is dismantled even if Basque Country (BSQ) exists.
  4. The CB for establish protectorate over Egypt (EGY).
  5. The Congo event chain sometimes generates isolated inland provinces for a country that has conquered other tags in the region, like Buganda (BUG); this seems more relevant to Portugal.
  6. Only the Sariwon region in Korea (KOR) seems to be conquerable.
  7. Russian (RUS) Sakhalin is not handed over to Kamchatka (KAM) even if dismantled.
  8. Stormtroopers seem to be excluded from some decisions, so they are just straight up worse than guards.
  9. Rule of the Maharashtra decision in the Sikh Empire can still be fired after the 20th century.
  10. "The Light of Democracy" (unknown ID) event does not have the proper options text, instead displaying the text for what I think is the event where your embassy is stormed, ID also unkown.
  11. The "organize colony" events talk about mineral investments but do not allow such investments to be made, at least in Nigeria, so no new mineral RGOs appear.
  12. [Unconfirmed] Some colonial events seem to not fire ever, like the Golden Stool for Ashanti, or inheriting Ethiopia and most of the Niger delta tags.

TYPOS:

  1. The decision to get merchant boats for you name is written as "Requsition" instead of "Requisition".
  2. The "[TAG] executes sailor!" event (unknown ID) has "depesch" in its text instead of "depeche".
  3. The decision to annex most of the Niger delta is written as "found_niger_company_title" right now.
  4. Cornwall (CRN) parties are probably using the irish names for parties and other things & stuff.

SUGGESTIONS: (you can skip this, it's only my 2cents)

  1. Add a way for Prussia (PRU) to get back their lands even after losing the Brothers' War, since they can be strong even after losing those and Austria can also be destroyed, or a higher likelihood for the Gutter Crown chain to fire.
  2. When dismantling British India, it might be a good idea to add a path where you can liberate/conquer a full India or regions/already existing tags. However, Great Britain (ENG) should lose their puppets in a more streamlined way, or add ways for Britain to coalesce more of their puppets into agencies for gameplay purposes.
  3. Some provinces, like Budweis (#630), Karakum Desert (#1204), Salcininkai (#3364) are too 'squiggly' and generate weird movement.
  4. It should not be possible to walk from russian central Asia to british India, according to stuff & things, so maybe we could have some beautiful blue borders there?

Peace of Prague precludes Austria-Hungary

Not sure if it's a bug, but taking the Peace of Prague decision that releases Rhineland and Westaflen from Prussia removes to decision to form Austria-Hungary, and vice-versa. I'm not sure why this would be, as you can also annex the South Germans after forming AH, but I thought I'd put it out there in case it is unintentional.

Rhine Crisis doesn't work

So I did the decision for the left bank of the Rhine as France, but the Rhine Crisis itself never happened. No war with Prussia or Austria.

İnventions

inventions you get while youre uncivilized doesnt has any effects after you civilized adding civilized limit to all inventions will fix it like limit = { flintlock_rifles = 1 civilized = yes } and looks like gendarmerie invention is unacquirable for civilized

Forming German Empire with Austria

Hi, I just wanted to ask if in the latest tagged version of this mod it is possible to form the German Empire with Austria. If that´s the case, what would be the requirements? I have puppeted Prussia and sphered the rest of them (after doing the union with Southern German states and having done in a previous war the decision that frees the Rhine and such). I leave an screenshoot with the sphere map mode in case I have missed something. Thanks in advance!

General Issues by peohge

Tested in 3 playthroughs: Two Sicilies, FRCA and a spectator Manipur game.

Bugs in general and typos:
Ultra-Germany seems to get less infamy for maximum chonk, I have seen it at less than 7 without civilizing mission two years after forming and with no apparent released tags.
Germany also gets noculture as accepted. Another tag that is also having the same problem is Viet Nam (spaced).
Uncolonized provinces in Tripolitania are not being colonized, same with those in Ivory Coast and Kamen. I have not seen the South China Islands get colonized, but I haven’t also looked thoroughly.
Uncolonized Darfur and Niger are being annexed by the same player that gets “the Saharan frontier”.
Uncolonized Central Asia remains uncolonized, this seems related to Russia somehow bricking the event and might not be a problem.
Arabistan seems to remain as persian puppet for the whole game, not being annexed. Bukei Horde is also suffering from the same problem, but I am not sure if that is due to Russia or the event chain.
Viet Nam has also not been annexed in my playthroughs, keeping the province of Tonkin. However, when I manually annexed Viet Nam, the chinese puppet event fired succesfully.
b) In the same vein, it seems there is no CB to annex Kanem-Bornu.
Similarly, some indonesian-based puppets seem also to not be annexed, particularly Lanfang and Riau-Lingga. This seems to have something do with westernization removing any CBs?
When France gets dismantled it keeps Oran, Algiers and Constantine, but not the other provinces containing algerian cores. When the english are dismantled, however, most of India is handed to the indian minors, except for most of Punjab and East Bengal/Bangladesh or Gujarat.
Some nations, particularly AI Bulgaria, seem to be released with their cores and the whole state their cores are at, like the former being released with all of Albania.
Sulina (#3372) and Silistre (#818) seem not to change hands during the russo-ottoman war or any other event.
Port-Aux-Français (#3414) is screwed; check the southern Indian Ocean near Antarctica.
Tukulor-Segu has had permawars in two of my games, but I have no idea how.
For typos, there is a party called “F?deralistische” in Austria, the decision to organize Ghana has “‘NO_TEXT_FOR_KEY WHICH’”,
New World pops seem to migrate rarely to Europe somehow, unless guaraní is not one, which is probably the one that migrated.

Balance issues:
Pop growth seems to be too big; total european population seems to have either doubled or tripled during the game period, but seems the game’s demographic, which is men of working age, seems to quintuple.
The aforementioned pop growth causes too much colonial integration or pops in colonies; it is possible to have an italian majority in West Java, for example, without the craftsmen glitch.
Some nations, including France and Spain, may be actually building too many boats; need further testing.
Lanfang and Monaco, even unoccupied and only producing gold, seem to go bankrupt.
You can go from Akrotiri & Dekelia (#2690) to Nicosia (#855) in Crete; while graphically the provinces are connected, this causes a wormhole. The same happens to Natal (#2431) and Vitória (#2449) in Brazil, and also #3414. And Menado (#1433), which gets its location out of the province?
Italy can be formed by a one-state Sardinia-Piedmont.
Provinces seem to be cored much faster; not a problem for me!
Zapadoslavia can be formed by Germany; I don’t think that a german-led nation would want to unite the czechs, slovaks and poles.
Italian Empire (ICS) gets a color that is too close to the United Kingdom (ENG).
With the AI seeming to be aggresive, some nations constantly disappear or become one-state minors, like Bolivia, and others are kept around forever, like Futa Tooro; also, the USA seems to constantly annex lands near Liberia and state it.
Some goods have lasting shortages even at later stages of the game, such as machine parts and canned food.

Call for South American union: cores not working as intended

When triggering the decision that adds cores to the USS, the decision seems to skip provinces you own (but not core) if the countries with a core on that province do not exist.

For example: in my game as Brazil, I have conquered both Paraguay and Uruguay before triggering the decisions, and since I didn't have cores on their provinces (or any other existent country) the provinces didn't get a USS core.
I think that this is because the "any_country" scope doesn't include your country or non existent countries (according to the wiki) so the only provinces that get a core are:

  1. provinces in South America of existent countries besides your country (through the first any_country scope)
  2. cores of other existing countries with a capital in South America (through the second any_country scope)
  3. your own cores (through the all_core outside of the scopes)

a quick solution I propose is to add this block to the decision effects:

any_owned ={
				limit={
					continent = south_america
				}
				add_core = USS
			}

but im not sure it would solve other edge cases I may have not seen

begin austro prussian war requires truce?

the decision for Prussia to begin the Brother War requires you to have a truce with Austria. Seems like it ought to require you NOT to have a truce with them, unless it's intentional I guess.

Missing inventions

Game is missing invention for cement factories and lumber mills, creating an issue that you can't buid those in the first place.

AI Russia does not colonize Central Asia

AI Russia completely forfeits Central Asian colonization and not participating in the Great Game at all. This leads to British domination of Central Asia and a weakened Russia. I tag switched to ensure they have all the techs, and the land is available to be colonized the AI just never sends colonist there.

Broken Economy

EVERY good in the world is being overproduced. Unemployment is huge and everyone in my country is starving to death en masse. waited fifteen years wondering if maybe things will balance themselves out, but they have not. Even Dyes and Coffee are in the shitter. I don't know how/if it's related but it seems nobody is building factories. I checked, and only Great Britain and Prussia are producing military goods, which are in soaring demand. Unplayable because of this.

Sorry to Bug a third time...

Thanks for your replies so far. I'm hoping if I reinstall, that I can port over my savegame?

There was another bug which was ruining my game- that the bureaucrats were promoting wayyyy beyond what was reasonable. There was like a 10,000% pop promotion chance for farmers to bureaucrats at some points. similar phenoomenon with intellectuals.

weird crashes

There is a weird issue that happened on my PLC campaign that every time I get into the late 1870s the game will crash when I am clicking on the technology button. And ever since that happened, I can't select PLC in my saves that year and have to pick another country and tag on it. I this way, I can play PLC but not able to pick technology, I can only tag back to another country when the research is finished and then make AI pick my next tech. Which is rather weird.

Infinite prestige glitch for Norway

There is an event for Norway named "sapmi_rename" (in the renaming.txt decisions file) that gives them a certain amount of prestige for naming a few provinces. the event doesn't generate any new flags so it can be spammed endlessly and generate a very large amount of prestige for the country

Dutch "Expansion of Amsterdam" Decision

Currently the "The Expansion of Amsterdam" decision for the Dutch is available throughout the game, which allows the dutch to raise Amsterdam's life rating an infinite number of times and receive prestige as well for only 150k. Almost sure this isn't working as intended as I've been able to bring Amsterdam well over 100 life rating. My suggestion would be either a flag so it is a single use decision, or making it progressively a lot more expensive each time the decision is used.

treaty port cb, wrong province number for Sado

On this section of the treaty port CB:

can_use = {
	NOT = { is_our_vassal = THIS }
	THIS = {
		civilized = yes
        is_disarmed = no
        any_owned_province = { has_building = naval_base }
        NOT = { has_country_modifier = neutrality_modifier }
        OR = {
            naval_plans = 1
            ai = yes
        }
		OR = {
			AND = {
                military_score = 25
                total_amount_of_ships = 5
                total_pops = 250000
                rank = 16
			}
			war_with = THIS
		}
		OR = {
			NOT = { war_policy = pacifism }
			ai = no
			war_with = THIS
		}
	}
	NOT = { has_country_modifier = neutrality_modifier }
	civilized = no
	is_vassal = no
	num_of_cities = 2
	OR = {
		war_with = THIS
		THIS = { NOT = { has_country_modifier = punitive_effects } }
	}

	OR = {
		owns = 1498 #Macao
		owns = 1538 #Shanghai
		owns = 1496 #Hong Kong
		owns = 1566 #Qingdao
		owns = 1481 #Lushun - Port Arthur
		owns = 1569 #Weihai
		owns = 1606 #Jiaxing
		owns = 2681 #Taibei
		owns = 2562 #Tainan
		owns = 1499 #Hainan
		owns = 2632 #Kwangchowan
		owns = 1608 #Ningbo
		owns = 1071 #Qeshm
		owns = 1695 #Ifni
		owns = 2640 #Gwadar
		owns = 1177 #Socotra
		owns = 2048 #Zanzibar
		owns = 1637 #Cheju
		owns = 2589 #Tsushima
		owns = 12 #Sado
	}
}

On that last line, it should be 3260 instead of 12.

On that note, although I'm not sure why, winning with this CB sometimes allows to take the "wrong" provinces, for example, winning against Persia gives you the option to take Tsushima. I'll post a new Issue if I find out why but I wanted to at least mention it for now.

Haitian Lousiana

When claiming the Louisiana territory Haiti is given cores on Fort Bonneville instead of Riverton as well as unnecessary cores on Fort Owen and parts of Minnesota east of the Mississippi leading to an abomination which resembles the Louisiana Territory.

No option to refuse to give the Congo away

I was playing as the US and had conquered most of the Congo (I had done the decision to organize it), but when the event for the Belgian Congo happened, I lost it immediately without the chance to refuse to give it away and I didn't even get a CB to retake it. It's probably because the effects are immediate within the event file. If this is how it's supposed to work then just ignore this.

Some Japan issues

(Mostly) shogunate specific problems:

  • Since the Tokugawa don't have cores on anything besides the territory they own, uniting the daimyo and abolishing the han system as them results in a Japan with basically no cores aside from the Shogunate's own previous territory. This also means that when you do Bunmei Kaika (or if you choose to do it), the new Empire only has the Shogunate's cores and everything else has no cores at all.
  • Abolishing the han system doesn't get rid of the han system modifier, either. (Also applies to the Empire of Japan)
  • The han system modifier is also not localized. (Again, also applies to the Empire, makes sense)

General issue(s):

  • The events regarding the warlord era in China with line of advantage don't work properly, as the puppet CB you're supposed to get doesn't work on the breakaway Chinese states (I think they're too populous for it to work?). So all you get is an infamy hit and a conquer state CB.
  • The event moving the capital to Edo has a bunch of the effect text all over it. Not really a huge issue but it looks weird.
  • When playing the historical route as Imperial Japan -> Empire of Japan, I got no decision to annex Ryukyu, but I did when I played as the Shogunate.
  • This happened on b3e6ec0, but I wasn't able to take treaty ports from China. There was no CB for it. This was also during a Shogunate -> Bunmei Kaika -> Empire playthrough, but I don't think playing as Imperial Japan from the start would've changed that since you just tag switch over anyways.

Norgevelt

This decision arose for just about everyone due to Iceland being a core for about 20 countries before I lost count.

It might also have to do with an issue of Norway having about 50000 infamy.

Weird migration tendencies keep happening (just like in TCG)

A significant amount of Mexicans POPs migrating to the UK in 1836, Frenchmen massively moving to the UK and Prussians escaping in massive numbers to France

I really like these mods concepts, but the migration makes a campaign in the new world cheeky and weird. More when you're a dude obsessed with flavour

Charcoal factory not possible to access

Out of curiosity I had a look at the game files and found that there is a Charcoal Factory in the game files. This invention and factory relies on the clean_coal technology, which has been disabled by the mod and replaced with the hot_blast technology.

Is this intentional for disabling the charcoal factory? Otherwise I suggest changing the prerequisite to be in line with the available technologies in the mod.

By the same token, there are references to clean_coal technology in a few other files as well. The steamer transport invention references it, as does the nation defines for AAC, RSF and SOV.

Relevant files and line numbers:
history\countries\AAC - Aachen.txt : 50
history\countries\RSF - Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.txt : 157, 307
history\countries\SOV - SovietUnion.txt : 157, 307
inventions\industry_inventions.txt : 1841
inventions\navy_inventions.txt : 432

Colonial railroading doesn't work properly

As a person that enjoys semi-historical games a lot, colonial railroading is IMO one of the best features that HFM had to offer.

Unfortunately the colonial negotiations tech now allows for the colonization of areas that used to have too low life rating to be colonized in old HFM.
This means that large chunks of africa (namely; Cameroon, Namibia and togo) can be colonized before their historical colonizers can get a chance to annex them via event/decision.

(I suggest fixing it by removing the min. life rating modifier from the colonial negotiations tech)

Clipper convoys not available from game start in V1.5?

}
clipper_convoy = {
	cost = 42.00
	overseas_penalty = yes
	**available_from_start = no**
	color = { 21 65 30 }

Why is this? I know that clippers cause quite some market balance issues, but now it's impossible to build/supply navies.

Love the update nonetheless, keep up the good work!

Prestige bug

The Problem:

With my Great Britain save, after scrambling the colonies in Africa, around the 1890s, things start to get weird. First, France gets a huge amount of daily prestige and regular prestige. (Around 15000 at the start and 130+ increase daily.) It never stopped, and I decreased to 2nd in global power ranking. After that, similar things happen to the US, I lose a rank again. And then, countries like Italy passed be because of the ridiculous prestige modifier. I might have seen a similar bug before in another mod, but it was not that severe. When I quit the game in 1900, France had over 160 thousand in prestige points and the US had over 60 thousand.

The Suggestion:

I think this might have to do with a bugged modifier because the abnormalities in the prestige scores started rather suddenly. The US's had this drastic change after they won a war to cut down the size of Guatemala.

Argentina Pops

The population of Argentina and Paraguay are grealty exagerated (My country really was a poor bloody hellhole in that times)
No way could it have been more than 800.000 in 1836.
Maybe i can do something to fix that but i dont know if stays that way for playability.
Sry for bad english.

Crash when loading flags

As it says in the title. I downloaded the mod a few minutes ago and it crashes on load at the "Loading Flags" step. Tried doing a clean install and deleting cache to no avail.

Tukulor Empire can't be formed

The decision

become_toucouleur = {

is impossible to take because of the condition

		religion = sunni

This condition is only applicable to population scopes.

African assimilation outdated

The current assimilation modifiers for Africa only work in the continent of Africa (which only makes up the Arab World and South Africa) and do not allow indigenous or Arab states to assimilate pops. Here is a fix I implemented in my own copy.

modifier = {
	factor = -80
	country = { NOT = { has_country_flag = african_integration_policy } }
	OR = {
		location = { continent = africa }
		location = { continent = south_west_africa }
		location = { continent = west_africa }
		location = { continent = east_africa }
		location = { continent = central_africa }
	}
	OR = {
		is_culture_group = african_diaspora_cultures
		is_culture_group = west_african
		is_culture_group = central_african
		is_culture_group = east_african
		is_culture_group = southern_african
	}
	AND = {
		NOT = { country = { is_culture_group = african_diaspora_cultures } }
		NOT = { country = { is_culture_group = west_african } }
		NOT = { country = { is_culture_group = central_african } }
		NOT = { country = { is_culture_group = east_african } }
		NOT = { country = { is_culture_group = southern_african } }
		NOT = { country = { is_culture_group = arab } }
	}
}

British "reconquest" of the U.S?

Kinda ridiculous suggestion, but since France can go crazy and conquer all of Canada, Oregon, Acadia and Louisiana and New Zealand, why not have a similar event/decision chain where the UK also goes crazy and 180s their policy on the US (maybe requiring them to take Oregon and have a jingoist/pro military party or something) and straight up invades, conquers and reorganizes them. Maybe give like 20-25 infamy as well.

Losing influence trying to form Germany as Prussia

I managed to get Austria to admit hegemony in the 1850s but I forgot some tiny German states so i started influencing them. Unfortunately whenever I got one of the states into my sphere, my influence levels with those countries would suddenly drop from Neutral/Cordial to Opposed/Hostile. The states in question where: Schwarzburg, Ruess, Saxe Coburg Gotha, Saxe Meningen, and one other Saxe I can't remember.

Irregulars can't be built as any unciv, Russia still never colonizes Central Asia

Rather odd bugs I found

  • No one, and I mean no one, can build irregulars. Anyone from the Ottomans (which did have a test_irregular invention to start in the files which, according to flavormod's localization, should enable at least them to build irregulars) to the Qing to Japan could not build them, which is kind of a problem. Irregulars suck at fighting, but an all cavalry army is worse.
  • And Russia never colonizes Central Asia still. This was noted as a problem before, but they still don't do it. Also, there's a province in Central Asia with a life rating of 3, which I don't think is intended

Funky Wars

I've noticed constant rebellions in the Ottoman Empire. Albania, in particular, rose up like 4 times in ten years, with only a few provinces. I'm assuming this is not intended.

Issue with Baffin Island

Baffin appears to be part of a russian state instead of the northwest territories or something similarly appropreate and it gets skipped over by involved events and decisions like the USA crusade for canada decisions.

Wrong province ID in "Colonization of Mozambique" event

For the event Portugal gets to colonize the interior of Mozambique after the Berlin Conference, the first time the event is supposed to fire, it requires the province that would be annexed by said event to be owned. This stops the event from firing at all, preventing Portugal from controlling the rest of Mozambique via said event.

Some bugs I've noticed

If the austroslavic empire forms, they can get infinite prestige by spamming "Rename Bohemia to use czech name" and "Rename Bohemia to use german names" continuosly. Also, if Bulgaria-Romania forms and they're in a GP's sphere, that GP can then use the "Form Romania decision", which doesn't work if you're a player so they spam that decision to get infinite prestige as well.

SIE - Siebenbürgen name and primary culture

Hi,

It seems like your mod inherited the vanilla Paradox logic of Siebenbürgen / Transylvania being a Romanian country in order to form Romania, mirroring Wallachia and Moldavia. However, Siebenbürgen is the German name of the region. According to the aforementioned logic its name should be "Ardeal" or "Transilvania" or simply "Transylvania", which is the common international and linguistically neutral name.

Additionally, more realistic would be a North German (= Siebenbürgen) or Hungarian primary culture, since Romanians were politically and culturally marginalised and never attempted to form an independent Transylvania, it was always about a unification with "old Romania" which was the union of Wallachia and Moldavia.

a Transylvanian

Making Russia its own continent in order to make Polish migrations work as intended?

In HFM, Polish pops are railroaded into migrating to France roughly as much as they are to the New World based mostly on the history of Polish immigrants from Congress Poland. The problem with this is that pops are hardcoded to only ever migrate to nations within the same continent as long as they share a border, so Polish migrants can only realistically reach France if they come from Prussia or Germany, which greatly diminishes the amount of immigrants France should be getting. A trick to fix that would be to make Russia or Eastern Europe its own continent in the same way the East Indies are in HFM, otherwise there's really not much of a point on keeping the immigrant attraction of Polish pops towards France.
