How can I use typescript template for react?

Does codespace host files locally?
When attempting to use npm run dev in a Codespaces environment, the command fails to execute as expected. This behaviour is inconsistent with typical npm behaviour and appears to be specific to the Codespaces environment. The codespace gives an output message in the terminal that the project is hosted at localhost, but there seems to be an issue with that.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open a Codespaces environment with a Node.js project.
2. In the terminal, run the command npm run dev.

Expected Behavior:
The npm run dev command should execute and start the development server as specified in the project's package.json file.

I noticed that several pull requests were created to update packages. Faced with this situation, I would like to propose a solution to ensure that every new project always starts with a stable version of create-react-app.

My suggestion would be to check if there is already an axios project created whenever a new container is created. If there is no project created, then the solution would be to create a project with create-react-app, using the most stable version of React. That way, we would ensure that all new projects start with the latest and most stable version of React.

          I wonder if this was explicitly added to avoid the oryx tool from running? 🤔

I'm trying to publish my codespaces branch to a private repository, but after clicking publish branch, the following error is shown:

Git: command 'github.codespaces.publish' not found

I can't seem to find anything on the internet on this, so I am making this.

The template I used for this codespace was (https://github.com/theodorusclarence/ts-nextjs-tailwind-starter)

Any ideas? Thank you
