DROP requires python 3 to be called as python in order to work.
I would suggest that the cleanest and most robust way is for you to use a anaconda (or any other virtual environment that you are familiar with). The advantage of using anaconda is that it is also availabe for python 2 and lets you install different versions of python.
Try installing miniconda (https://docs.conda.io/en/latest/miniconda.html#linux-installers) and setting up the environment there. You can use the .travis.yml file for help.

Hi. I have done some modification on my Centos7 singularity container. Now the command system 'python' execute python3. Now the drop software works fine. Thanks a lot for you help. This issue can be closed.
