Infinite Baking time on large polycount. about textools-blender HOT 2 CLOSED

Ok. Freeze happens when textools try to assign materials from high poly backup slot back on high poly model face by face, so more faces hp have more indexes need to be assigned. Can someone optimize that behavior?

For example to disable backup and restore hp materials for tangent mode bake. I commented few lines and it works for me but I'm don't know python, so it's ugly workaround =)

Will post my solution in case of freeze when baking highpoly (over 1 million polys) by textools.

It happens because of material restore on highpoly mesh after bake process is finished. To solve that freeze you need to disable face indexing by commenting lines from 157 to 159 in utilities_bake.py. It works for me. Hope it will help someone one make a proper fix for textools in future.
