Hi @plweil,

Regarding templates, you need to pass the full path of templates folder.

I don't think that /public/templates is the full path. Probably full path is something like /var/www/public/templates or something like that.

The way I found more simple is to se PHP magic constant __DIR__ to resolve current path and then append the relative part.

E.g. if the file that contains the code is in the public folder you can do:

$foil = Foil\Foil::boot([
   'folders' => [ __DIR__ . '/templates' ]
]);

$engine = $foil->engine();

Regarding the message '"start" is not a registered Foil callback that is... true.

There's no function named start() in Foil.

An older version of documentation reported that function, but if you look at current documentation, you'll see that the function to open a section is section() and not start().

Thank you! It's all clear now and working perfectly.

That start() call was from an old Plates template that I am converting. I just forgot to change it.
