I agree that is not so clear. Here is a summary:

• pipe the Xcode output to a file xcodebuild #{xcode_args} | tee ' xcode.log'
• generate the JSON from the log cat xcode.log | XCPRETTY_JSON_FILE_OUTPUT=summary.json xcpretty -f `xcpretty-json-formatter`
• add to you DangerFile xcode_summary.report 'xcode.json'

Makes sense?

I use buddybuild. I have postbuild.sh with:

chruby 2.3.1
bundle install
bundle exec danger --fail-on-errors=true

and gemfile, dangerfile
