what license do we want for our artwork? What about the font we uploaded? Thats not our work.

Let's discuss mockupping for HTML output and GUI here :)

We'll want to have a nice website on coala-analyzer.org soon IMO, mockups needed.

We'll want something similar like whatcanidoforfedora.org probably building on their framework which is easy to do. However we'll want a custom coala theme.

A folder can be created at /artwork to store website assets. Possible names: site_assets / pages. /popup_display/coala_404_page.svg should be moved there.

Inkscape complains when opening https://github.com/coala/artwork/blob/master/artwork/logo/coala_color.svg , saying it is a legacy Inkscape file that was created in an older version of inkscape (90 DPI).

It recommends being converted to 96 DPI without scaling, if it will be used in digital form.

Both a in coala.io texts of coala-header SVG is not rendering perfectly. It looks odd to https://github.com/coala/artwork/blob/master/artwork/logo/coala-header.png.

@ayan-b I have better version made using Inkscape ready at coala/coala#5832 that I will sync in this repo.

#35 resulted in a HTML version, which is nice.

However an SVG would be better.

I'd love to do some advertisement at the GSoC Mentor Summit where a lot of FLOSS orgs meet together, would be nice to have a business card in coala design. @ankitstarski could you do a design for this? I'd probably sponsor everyone also 500 coala-cards in case you're interested.

We were thinking about using something like this:

Maybe we can do something with that stamp like coala logo and meld in some other logo - e.g. a lightning for quickstart. That would be put on the left I guess with plain and simply the project name beneath it.

The below mockup suggests the user side functionalities which the HTML Interctor Application, sought to be implemented in coala would achieve:
(The webpage still needs to be adapted into a design which inherits from GNOME design components)

• The django webpage allows the user to browse results and the maybe the config file used.
• It may also allow advanced actions, like:
  • Downloading a patch provided by a bear.
  • Downloading a patch which covers the changes from multiple bears.
• At some point of time, allow searching with respect to time and keywords.

Non goals of the application should not be confused and are as follows:

• Editing the coafile
• Editing codefiles/applying patches

in 0.3 we'll have a GUI that might be a reason to move away from ASCII logos? ;)

According to priority:

• Results view.
• Setting sections.

Design ideas welcome for what the ascii art for the next release should depict.

We want a t-shirt. Needs design.

Each release of coala included an ascii-art , usually put into the release notes for the release.

We need all of the old ascii-art put into this repository in that folder as an archive.

Good idea to have a separate SVG forcoala.io's text.

The logo in coala/documentation#558 has a viewbox defined as viewbox="0 0 48 48" , while the file here in this repo does not have one.

Is there any problem with adding the viewbox to the file in this repository?
Is viewbox="0 0 48 48" a suitable value for the file in this repository?

If so, adding it here will make it easier to keep the logos in other repos in sync.

we'll want an own blog agregator for coala related blog posts. Needs design and of course implementation but it shouldn't be too hard to do.

It combines https://github.com/coala/artwork/blob/master/artwork/logo/coala_color.svg with coala.io

We need a text file version of it (i.e. SVG), so it can be used by mobans, due to moremoban/moban#16

Also need to document the colors of the text - i.e. a visual style guideline.
