eslint, cpd, not sure. Could we possibly automatically generate a logo? It's too many logos to design by hand I think

If we have a common background and shape, maybe you can automate cropping and fitting a language/linter logo on top.

thing is, it's probably easier to craft like 5 or 6 per hand. If we do it for every bear, we'd probably need the linter icon as a property of the bear and that goes a little far, really.

although I could imagine to keep like an icon set of every bear in the repo.... if we come up with simple logos :D

Or one icon per programming language. All bears in that language will have that icon.

I need to go but two options spring to my mind immediately:

• this is the current coala svg. There isn't much space left if we keep the coala. so we could just use the green "coin" background with the shadow at the bottom and put whatever language/linter/bear logo on top. Easy to automate.
• crazy idea: modify the language/linter/bear logo in a way that desaturates the logo and gives it a shadow and "3d mold shape" so that it looks like some kind of footprint. add toes (same for every logo).
  leaves you with a monochrome bear footprint, should look awesome on light backgrounds, no idea how good that really looks :D

As we have dont have logos for generic bears, lets start this with linter bears.

The linter bear logo should be a combination of the coala logo ( https://github.com/coala/artwork/blob/master/artwork/logo/coala_color.svg ) and the logo of the linter.

e.g. I dont know of CPD has its own logo, but PMD has one on https://pmd.github.io/ .

I suggest the mashups of coala logo with a bears should go into artwork/logo/bears , and be named after the bear, e.g. JavaPMDBear.svg .

Do not choose JavaPMDBear! Select a different linter bear! Chat with a mentor if you dont know how to find a suitable linter bear which needs a logo.

The viewbox of the svg should be much larger than the viewbox of the coala logo.

Ideally logos should be square , but other dimension ratios will be allowed if the design is interesting and it required a different ratio.
